This is one of the better observations and assessments one has given thus far! I do think the only problem for Munguia is his defense and how will he respond when being hit by a heavy handed clean puncher! I'm not clear Canelo wins, but it won't be a surprise if he does the bigger question is what level is Munguia at or can go in deep waters.

For his frame/size, Canelo should of stopped at 160 lbs, I think that's his best weight class. But that clen meat sure does wonders for jumping up multiple divisions.

'We gotta remember, Canelo, really, height-wise and size-wise, is close to a welterweight who’s moved up because of his talent. He’s a wide guy; muscular; so he’s been able to ‘cheat’ the divisions'.

That makes no sense at all. Regardless of his height the lowest Canelo was ever able to make was 154. Folks have different bodies. You are going to get very tall thin guys like Panama Al Brown, Tommy Hearns, Mark Breland & Fundora & you are going to get very wide, chunky guys like Dwight Mohammed Qawi, Tommy Burns & Canelo. One of the guys who has fought Canelo & Munguia is John 'Gorilla' Ryder. Ryder is 5'9 & said every trainer assumed that even M/W was too big for him & he needed to slim down. He made himself ill struggling in vain to make weight & achieved far more once he realised he was, naturally, a 5'9 super-middleweight. Ryder just was born chunky.
