If that's the case then every Haney win of his career has an L. He was 165 bs Loma lmao

You know Haney is going through it.

Losing for the first time and to his childhood rival at that, feeling like a fraud as champion, the world watching and making fun of him for it, etc. Lot of things were said in the build-up too.

Devin's not a bad kid. Hope his faith and team can help him power passed this.

The only people who compared Haney to Floyd were complete morons.

Missing weight used to be a big deal, the fighter had to sweat the weight off and come back to the weigh-in. Now a fighter can just buy off the other fighter. In this case, it may have cost Haney the fight. If they fought at 145 or so, maybe Haney would have done better, but maybe not. Ryan is quicker and has a much better punch.

Haney can always come back any time same way he rose to the top. I just have to wonder if being big is his main advantage.

Haney has been beating smaller guys for years. Got clearly beaten by Loma, corrupt cards. Is scared to sit down on a punch for fear of getting caught. Is considered by basically everyone as one of the most boring fighters in the sport. Yet he and his dad delusionally talk about him being the best fighter in the world.

Haney is now blaming the loss on the weight. He got paid 1.5 million. Him and Garcia both rehydrated 10+ pounds, there was no size advantage in the ring.

The Haney's are just clowns. Devin, learn to sit on a punch. Fight at your natural weight, which at this point is at least 147.

While all that may be true,
Regis is still a hater and needs just work on his craft.
He just wished he could campaign for a rematch.
His best bet is a vacant belt when Haney moves up.

He fought Kambosos 2x on his home soil; Loma, Prograis and now Ryan Garcia in order to get what he wanted. That hardly sounds like a fighter who is trying to protect their undefeated record.

He just didn’t sit back to pick and choose in order to Pad his record and to protect his 0.
Indeed, Haney has been looking for smoke. It could have been real easy to sit back and have Eddie pay him handsomely to defend his belt against no-hoppers.
