    Jason Moloney locks horns with Yoshiki Takei at a time when the bantamweight division will be in full swing. Moloney, 27-2 (19 KOs), will defend his 118-pound WBO world title against Japan's Takei on the Naoya Inoue-Luis Nery undercard at the iconic 55,000 seater Tokyo Dome on May 6. On the same card Takuma Inoue puts his WBA bantamweight belt on the line against Sho Ishida, and old foe Emmanuel Rodriguez heads to nearby Osaka with his IBF title to face Ryosuke Nishida just two days prior.

    These lower divisions are heating up now they're actually getting more exposure on TV in the US over recent years. Any mix and match of those contenders/champions at BW is a good fight. Gotta stop the disrespect with those weight classes. Too much skill and talent down there for them not to be displayed on a wider scale.

      One thing for certain is that the heavier weight fans can only dream for a similar activity level by top fighters that these lower weight guys do. All the champions are eager for unifications, they don't marinate fights endlessly, and undefeated isn't coddled.
