Cotto/Floyd wouldn't be that hard to make.

But I can see Arum really trying to make Cotto/Shane 2 before a Floyd fight.

    Assuming Cotto wins of course.

At 147 Floyd made excuses too. He said Cotto wasn't a big name and he doesn't want to deal with Bob Arum.

Well for Marquez he said that he had a whole country behind him and he got called out. So does Cotto though and he has mentioned fighting Mayweather, just he does not do it like Mosely or like how Marquez wants Manny.

Mosely aint got nothing to shout about apart from he is a very dangerous fighter and a welterweight champ. Oscar don't really care for him either so 30% maybe 40%

Cotto would take 40% because he seems a guy that is just willing to fight.
Youre talking about a guy who did 2.4 mil and more than you did with the same opponents, no way will Floyd take 50/50 and he shouldnt, it would be ******. He's never settled below his market value and he wont now.

Well, At 140, was about 9 fights back for Cotto and 4 fights back for Floyd.
I wouldn't have put a 26-0 Cotto in with a 36-0 Floyd either.....no shame in that. But that was then and this is now.
I don't know if Cotto can beat Floyd or even if Floyd can beat Cotto but they both definitely have what it takes to beat each other at 147.

especially if Cotto beats Pac, that would put an end on Floyd's salesmen theory.

That 2.4m was before a recession and how many would want a refund from that fight?

It was built up to be a fight that would save boxing. It didn't help save it IMO.

I feel that Floyd can't retire now. He seems hat he needs the money and wants to cash in before he can not physically fight or atleast keep on winning.

Floyd has the right to take 60/40 though.

Here the haters go again talking about a recession, ok what did Floyd/Marquez do compared to Pac/Marquez how about Floyd/Hatton compared to Pac/Hatton, how about Floyd/Oscar compared to Pac/Oscar. 60/40 at worst.

Mayweather will fight the winner of Cotto-Pac. Bank on that one, Mang.. Otherwise there is nowhere else to turn.

And OF COURSE his ass needs the gwap.. One fight will not heal all of your financial problems. The richer you are, the more you pay. He's gonna go for whoever brings the most money to the table.

                    I'm not a hater.

Oscar VS Floyd today. The same exact fight. 2.4 mil aint happening in my opinion.

Oscar VS Manny was billed as a mismatch and Oscar was not the same.

Hatton already lost and there was no whose '0' gets taken away.

If they had never fought in 2007 and everything was the same I think it would do about the same numbers. It surely would do alot more than what Pac did with Oscar. Floyd just did one million with Marquez, nobody envisioned that in their wildest dreams.
