Comments Thread For: Opposites Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke Finally Attract in Heavyweight Showdown

British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley has employed mind games following a recent broadcast of the popular Sky Sports program "The Gloves Are Off." Wardley (17-0, 16 KOs) will return to the ring on Saturday at London's O2 Arena against 2020 Olympic bronze medalist Frazer Clarke (8-0, 6 KOs). Wardley and Clarke share an interesting rivalry. The pair had been ordered to face each other last year to contest the vacant British heavyweight title. However, promoter Ben Shalom and Clarke's then-management 258 withdrew Clarke from the purse bids.

“Everything will crumble behind you” is hilariously epic & I'm here for it xD

Gonna be a better fight than many are anticipating.

I'm not really hyped over this.

Fabio Wardley is a guy who was a white collar boxer, he's OK as a heavyweight domestically but that's about it.

Frazier Clarke was the third string British amateur who was beaten up by Joe Joyce who was in turn beaten up by AJ.

This fight is around the level of a Danny Williams vs Michael Sprott fight 15 years ago, it only gets attention because they are both unbeaten, but I don't think even the winner will really go anywhere much further, they just aren't that talented.

I’ve met Frazier many times. He’s a brilliant fella. But I really like wardley too. I mean how can you not like him? The kid is very intelligent and done it the hard way. He’s beaten all put in front of him and improves in every fight.

It was really fun to see him batter and stop that wanna be thug Adeleye had that ninja trying to fight the ref like a bully does.

Main thing is both guys give us a great fight, leave the ring healthy and a decent pay for it! That’s boxing.

You are oh so correct but let's not forget, the Williams vs Sprott fights were brilliant!

I like Wardley. He's an entertaining fighter, aggressive, hits hard and can be hit himself. He may have started on the white-collar scene but I think he has more "it" than Clarke. I expect him to win this one.
