All you idiots ever say is you don't like the way Al runs his business which is the same exact business model he borrowed from TR GBP and MR but he does it a lot better and with more fighters. The goal is to house as many fighters (good and bad) as you can which can hopefully lead to a lot of title fights and then hang on to the belts for as long as possible while making majority 'in house' to repay your investors. 1. I have plenty of money, I love boxing, and I want to see this fight. That said, friggin $75 for this fight (unless the web is wrong)? That is a pathetic setup for a debut.
2. The key for many on eastern and central time will be to allow for it to be watched the next day. DAZN and ESPN+ allow it and HBO at least aired them the next week. Showtime was the worst for this. For early risers, either your Sunday is ruined or you simply didn't watch the fight.

Pbc nor any other promoter can't compete with Saudi money when it’s being backed by the Saudi ********* state government with laundered blood money. Also, I thought PBC fighters will leave for Dazn in 2018 because the money was going to be to good. What happened to that? Also, Prime customers are used to paying $10 for a movie. Not sure they’ll fork out PBC prices en mass to cover the purses. We’ll see after these first events I guess. Personally I hope it backfires on them and Canelo’s refusal to fight Benavidez results in pathetic PPV numbers. Fighters like him need to be brought back down to earth in terms of their real worth.

The Saudi investment isn't infinite, and I don't think they're throwing cards all year. For the sake of their stable, PBC needs to find someone who will supply them with a decent budget. This monthly $80 PPV formula is getting really tiring.

ESPN reached 72 million homes - according to the writer's over optimistic logic then boxing on ESPN should already be setting new viewing numbers. It doesn't translate just as Amazon Prime reaching 250 million people won't translate to new PP records being set every year.

The best way to make real boxing mainstream again is to have the best fight the best in a TIMELY and FREQUENT manner. PBC seems to want to keep things in house as much as possible so that's not going to happen. The Saudis just want the best to fight the best and that is it.
