Canelo already has the full respect from his fans. Nothing further to prove. The haters and critics are the ones clamoring for the Benavidez fight. Even a Benavidez victory will not prove anything to them. They will quickly turn their attention to Bivol, Beterbiev, Crawford, or someone else. Even a loss to Bivol wasn't enough for those idiots.
