More pooseys who think they know boxing. Ward whipped him TWICE. Quit with the low blow excuses. Kov can’t take body hits. A blind man can see that. First fight was a 9to 3 or 8to 4 ,plus knockdown type fight. Kovalev won the first fight convincingly enough that there was not even a need for a rematch.shenmue Combat Dude like this.

Ward was one of the dirtiest fighters in the history of the sport. If there was a HOF list for illegal tactics, he would probably be No. 1.
Apart from the low blows against Kovalev, I remember one of the headbutts against Kessler particulary well - looked more like a rhino than a boxer. And also the elbows against (I think it was) Bika.
The fact that he got away with all of that is simply shameful.dannnnn likes this.
