Bivol is I would say in this specific era a elite level Athlete in terms of athleticism. Bivol has also mastered the boxing fundaments 'When you combine those two attribute's, that type of fighters will go some way in the sport'.
Bivol is nothing spectacular in any area of his game, he does nothing really which pushes the boundaries of boxing physics 'Which is why some people may see him as a basic fighter. And that is because, in reality? He wins his fights with basic game plans'.
Note: Where Bivol gains most of his performance is 'His ability to make less unforced error's, than his competitors'. You may have heard of this term being used in sports such as Tennis, and sometimes in Motor Sport. Unforced error's in boxing, from my observation in this era of fighting? Is what separates the good fighters from the great 'All the great fighters seem to share, the ability to not really make technical mistakes at a high frequency'.
Bivol and Beterbiev are similar in this regard 'With Bivol being slightly better at this area of his game'.
Beterbiev I believe makes up for this by actually, in some area's of his game being better than just good on current form 'Such as his power, brute strength and potentially durability'.
Beterbiev is possible elite level in those area's of his game etc.
Cobra Curry likes this.

His distance control is among the best I've ever seen. even to watch it, it's not ordinary looking.
It's not a coincidence that he has statistically the best defense and statistically the most accurate fighter in boxing at the moment.
To beat him you have to overcome those two things, two of the most important things, literally the art of boxing, hit and don't get hit, and he's statistically the best in boxing at both as it stands, so anybody that thinks Beterbiev could just walk through him isn't thinking correctly.
When you think of past boxers who were statistically the best in defense and had extremely high accuracy there's one thing they all shared in common and it's they were never afraid to get in the ring with strong fighters with power. Mayweather had similar statistics and one thing you can say about him was he went in with plenty of big punchers.
the good thing is Beterbiev is he much more than just a puncher and that's why it's billed as a 50/50 fight. but when one of the guys in the ring has the best defense and the best accuracy in boxing, then it's the other fighter who has to overcome a bit more.
he uses his feet a lot and throws a lot
other master boxers like Floyd Rigo Lara didn’t throw many shots

Makes it look good although his shots are not hard but they are precise
And that is his way of getting in out without letting the other boxer get a shot in because of the return fire
That will also be a downfall for when he fights Artur cause Beterbiev will take two to land one of his own like he did against Gvodzyk
Only difference is Arthur’s shots come in heavy
