I never liked Lopez and was hoping he lose the fight, but Ortiz fought like a very scared man. You have to beat the champion convincingly and Ortiz failed to do that. Not a fan of Lopez but he won the fight. Had it 117/111

Tim is a mess. He starts out with a script and halfway thru fights if things aren't the reality of the script he will just suddenly change his narrative.

My question is, when was the last time the "B-side" given the benefit of the doubt in the decision? ESPN tried very hard to tell us why Ortiz shouldn't win but I haven't heard anyone give an argument why Lopez should have won this.

Ortiz deserved the nod, you’re not the ring general or dictating the pace due to ineffective aggression. Lopez was way too inactive and inaccurate the lack of a plan B and his bouts of frustration showed that he wasn’t in control.
