Mayweather told boxing scibe Tim Smith that a fight with Mosley was important back then, but he doesn't need Mosley now. Mosley confronted Mayweather in the ring after Floyd won a dominating decision over Juan Manuel Marquez on September 19. [details]
You don't need him to make money, but you need him to prove you are the best.

      Dom,

Floyd doesn't plan to fight until the Spring. Trust that Floyd won't take a "stay-busy" fight. He just came off a 21 month layoff and was sharp as heck, so he knows he doesn't need to "stay busy". And if you look at his history before the layoff, he was only fighting 2x/year.

With that said, Floyd knows that he is the prettiest girl at the dance. Why should he commit to the math club geek early in the evening? FMJ is going to play coy and listen to all offers. And then he is going to end up with the quarterback. He'll sit back, and see how Nov 14 plays out. That fight won't outsell his. And maybe he sees how the Dec/Jan fights play out. Then he makes a date for the Spring.
PBF knows that Arum must approach him regarding a fight. I won't even discuss with anyone who tells me there is a bigger fight for Pac than either

      Mayweather-Pacquiao
      or
      Mayweather-Mosley.

So, if Pac wants to go fight Marquez 3 for a fraction of the money, go ahead. If Pac wants to fight a bigger Mosley for less money, have at it.

The one thing Floyd is confident of is that he can get eight figure paydays. FMJ made $10 mil to fight Baldomir, and $15 mil to fight Marquez. Annd he wasn't in nearly as good a position.

...you seriously think Floyd is worried? LOL

            Live in ur dreamland.

Anything less than 60-40 for Pac and gayweather can kiss his fight goodbye. Pac can fight anybody from 140 or Mosley, Berto and still make the same.

            Gayweather has nobody else.

            Wait...

            There's Calderon at 160.

he don't need Shane! Shane ain't nothing but a titleholder like Cotto and Berto. There is no lineal champ at 147 because Floyd mayweather Jr was the last lineal champ and he retired.

shane mosley right now, would just get embarrased. How you gon struggle with a Collazo, a Mayorga, and get outboxed by Miguel Cotto and think you go actually do something with the best boxer in the sport!

You haterz are idiots and yall jump from 1 wagon to another. Most of yall picked Shane to lose to Margarito who can't box a lick and hadn't beat nobody.

yall picked Margarito over shane and now he suppose to challenge Floyd! C'mon Son!
