Apparently this guy had some health issues and wants to go out in style. No matter how you slice it, the Saudi money is good for boxing.

Depends if pbc is willing to do it. I think vegas is the better option for this fight if it happens. More hype.

This is a tricky fight, with Haney having blown up to 165 in the Prograis fight! Haney can't make 135, so the fight will have to be @ 140, but there would have to be a rehydration limit at 155, for the fight to be a fair fight! I think Tank fights at 135 next, and then fights either the Garcia vs. Romero winner @ 140, or Shakur Stevenson @ 135! Haney is stuck in a bad spot! Looking like Sandor Martin for him!

Boxers today are making big $$ in the new Middle East boxing bonanza. Great fighters from the past missed out on this--sorry for them. Oil countries have billions of $ to burn.

Davis is not the type of fighter to accept this fight, his resume doesn't lie. He'll instead fight someone around Rayo's level.

I think the weight is too much of an issue now. Haney isn't going to be as good below 140, and I don't want to see fighters handicapped by rehydration clauses on top of a catchweight. Tank isn't going to move up to 140 for a fair fight with no 'A side privileges' attached. He wouldn't even take that risk against Barrios.

Saudis should try put Haney in a big fight though, preferably Matias or Teo. Haney is a lot better fit for the Saudi approach than Tank, because Haney actually wants to fight the best and have an impressive career.

That fight should happen in Vegas.

I doubt even the so called 'most powerful figure in boxing ' could make tank wahid step in against haney in SA. Wont believe nada til Abdul signs it lol.

Tank fans so weak in confidence they need a catchweight and rehydration clause for pillow fisted Haney! Can't make this s up ! Comedy gold ! Can you imagine if Canelo insisted on catchweight and rehydration clause for Benavidez? Would they have the same energy? Lol
