The IBF knew of the negotiations and agreements as well as Ennis's camp.

We shall not ignore the fact that Boots was offered an opportunity to face but for the WBO as well which he declined. So, this notion that he "deserves" to be the IBF is ignorant. At the very least, he should have to fight for a vacant title. He's done nothing to be rewarded a belt when someone has been stripped.
of course you can do that. if you do something bad 2 times in your life is it ok to do it wrong EVERY time from then until your death? of course it's not ok. it's better to make a mistake a few times than every time.

you don't follow boxing enough. and for guys like you we explained everything in detail already in several topics. i don't want to repeat everything for every poster. you are just wrong about some things because of lack of knowledge. also check what you replied to other people. there are a few mistakes which make you appear right. unknowledgeable members won't notice them and think you are right too.

ennis DESERVES to be ibf champion because he was the mandatory after defeating clayton in a sanctioned eliminator AND after defeating karen in a vacant title fight. can you read that? that's what you asked for. that already happened. they have already prolonged their call for a mandatory fight. when mandatory is called, either you fight him or you are stripped and that's a good thing.

the biggest problem is that crawford openly said that he will NEVER fight ennis, barrios, stanionis or santillan. because of that and that alone he should be stripped of all 4 belts. i actually HATE that the other 3 bodies are silent and haven't stripped him already. and i am a crawford fan! i like him more than ennis, spence and almost everybody else. he is the best welter in the world, p4p #1 and future hofer. he has the right to fight whoever he wants. that part is ok. but crawford should vacate his belts if he won't fight any of his mandatories ever.

he is wasting time, the most important resource. you want other boxers to be even more inactive. how can i say that you ask? well highly rated contenders and especially mandatories/ interim champions wait for their title fights because they earn more money if title is on the line for the same exact fights! so why would any of them fight if they can wait and earn more for those fights? if crawford vacated or was stripped, barrios, stanionis and ennis would automatically become full champions and wbo would immediately order santillan vs. somebody for their title. everyone mentioned would make their biggest payday in their next fights. not to mention that unifications can be made between them for even more money (2-4 times more money for the same fight compared to now). they can't unify now because you can't unify secondary titles (1 of the bodies automatically strip the winner of their title in that case). crawford is essentially robbing them of opportunities and money. that's what i hate! i wouldn't support that even if my father or brother were doing that.

let's see one recent example. wood had a mandatory, kholmatov. ford was #2 and he wanted to fight kholmatov. wood wanted to fight warrington for more money with his wba title on the line. wood and warrington also NEVER intended to fight kholmatov and the winner was sure to vacate the belt (VERY IMPORTANT). what i wanted was wood-warrington for the full title and kholmatov-ford for the interim title. when wood won and vacated, kholmatov-ford winner would have become the full champion. kholmatov and ford were available and waiting for 6 months before wood-warrington and it seems they would wait another 6 months after that fight. wba only sanctioned wood-warrington. by not ordering interim title fight, wba robbed them of 1 payday and 6-9 months of their careers. even if kholmatov and ford made less for their interim title fight compared to vacant full title fight they'll have next year, that interim fight would have been in october at the latest. then their next fights would have been in ~march as a champion and title challenger against whoever. they would have fought twice instead of once in the same period. that wasted time can't be brought back and that one missing payday too.

option 1: wood-warrington for wba title, kholmatov and ford don't fight for 11/12 months for 0$, wba get fees from 1 fight only, wood vacated like expected, kholmatov-ford for vacant wba title ordered.
option 2: wood-warrington for wba title, kholmatov-ford for wba interim, wba get fees from 2 fights, wood vacates as expected, winner (now full titlist, the only wba champion) vs. next mandatory in march, loser vs. somebody in february-april.
the difference between options 1 and 2 is more money for wba, kholmatov and ford, 1 more fight for each kholmatov and ford and 6-9 months of their careers are not wasted. wood and warrington are the same in both options. which option would you prefer? i prefer option 2. now back to the welterweight division. ibf picked my option 2 too. i strongly believe it was the right option. both wood and crawford didn't want to fight their mandatory. the only difference between featherweight and welterweight is that wood was man enough to vacate himself promptly and crawford was stripped. of course crawford is not afraid of ennis but he shouldn't deprive him of opportunities and money.

i bet you haven't thought about all this and more. i hope you understand my point of view better now.

Absolutely - and he should vacate the belts to free up the division that he apparently has no further interest fighting in.

It’s frankly disgusting seeing so many on NSB justifying this guy not vacating yet not defending. Just because it’s him.

We already have something pending so I don’t care to go back and forth with you, once boots faces those fighters you named… the very first one, we will see if you stand on what you say, or just run your mouth like I suspect to be the case. But, only time will determine that, until then… do me a favor, and STFU! You run your mouth more then females

I don't mind discussions as I never claim to know everything. I simply discuss what I actually have see and hear via interviews and/or events. I was really looking forward to you attempting to pointing out my "flaws" that you simply just don't agree with, but, you lied too many times for me to continue to read your passage. After you claim Crawford said he would never fight specific names....I had to leave your bullsh** where it sits, because Crawford has said many times that Ennis could possibly be an option. He only recently stated that he is looking for the big fights due to his accomplishment in July vs Spence. If I'm wrong.......Please point to the interview where he was even questioned about Barrios, Stanionis, or Santillan. Quoting B.S. and trying to justify it by saying "I'm a Crawford fan" makes you sound suspect from jump. I simply like the sport, I'm not as loyal to any specific fighter like most on this site. I do feel Crawford gets a bad rep sometimes for things he can't control. I don't get notion of saying you are surprised the other sanctioning bodies haven't stripped him as well.... but you are a Crawford fan huh?.........lol.

Crawford had a huge accomplishment this summer and 3 months later he is told he is no longer undisputed. You justify it because Ennis beat up an old as Clayton who hadn't accomplished sh** in his entire career then he fights Karen months later. Those accomplishments puts him in the running for an interim championship/mandatory but it is not grounds to strip a newly crowned undisputed champ 3 months after his accomplishment who obviously can't legally negotiate any other fights because he is bound to a rematch clause.

All that silly sh** you ****** on your keyboard to promote your self proclaimed elite knowledge on boxing doesn't change that Ennis has done NOTHING different from any other ranked fighter in the division. No where am I saying he doesn't deserve a shot, I'm stating he doesn't deserve a shot over any other highly ranked/mandatory welterweight. And if Crawford is to be stripped for any reason, fighting for a vacant world title should be the go-to not simply awarding someone through "email". Porter & Danny fought for a vacant title. I don't remember anyone giving Porter any static about not being a real champion when he and EJ unified..... Ugas was named champion when Manny was stripped and it was a definitely a discussion on if he was a real champ when he was stating he wanted to fight EJ or Crawford to become unified champ. Obviously he ended up fighting Manny to solidify his status and then lost to EJ, but that's hindsight.

If we are going to talk about what Jaron Ennis deserves, then we should point out that he nor any other competitor who gets to that level deserves to have an asterisk on their world title, especially their first one. At the end of the day, I would love to see Boots vs Bud. I think that style/IQ combination would be much more fan friendly than what EJ gave us vs Bud in July. I wish we could just dismiss the rematch honestly and get a undisputed (well not any longer) defense at 147. Then maybe Crawford goes up to 154 and try his hand with bigger punchers there.

Somehow you have convinced yourself that you are worthy of praise for the goofy approach you take to these conversations.... I don't give a sh** about your "point of view" when it comes with an entitlement. I'm here for boxing discussion. If I learn something in it, I'm all for it. If I can share something, I'm with that.....but I'm definitely not here to praise some weird mfer stroking his ego on flawed logic that he pushes off as facts. Peace.

                You sound salty and silly.

how is it possible to vacate your belts when you've already sign a contract, and the loser has activated his mandatory rematch clause and it's at 147, plus the IBF ok'ed the deal then go strip the champ after 3mnth if that ?

It's Joke business pure and simple.
