Haney looked like a complete different fighter at 140....he usually gasses almost completely out by the 7th. The higher weight has 100% helped his stamina and he has a lot more pop.

most Fighters can do 12 Rounds at their own pace if the other fighter doesn't have the feet to get anywhere in range
His stamina would look a lot different again someone with faster feet then Prograis because they can offer some pressure

we saw with canelo against charlo his stamina looked ok because charlo offered no resistance whatsoever and no pressure.

so I wouldn't say this was completely to do with Haney being at one 140, although it could help too.

Definitely. I don’t think people understand how weak he was at 135. He missed weight 3 times against Loma unofficially. He’d been at 135 since he was 15 years old

Subriel is a BEAST. Matias & Hitchins are the only guys at 140 I give more than a 30% chance to beat Haney.

I said this weeks ago. If you ain't got good fast footwork and you just look for one punch haneys gonna outclass you and that's exactly what happened. The reason Loma had so much success against Haney was because he's got great footwork and if you ain't got it like Regis then it's pretty much a wrap and that's what it was after 3 rounds. But I was surprised how much Haney was hurting prograis and he stunned him a few times in there he just looked stronger and sharper at 140lbs. Be interesting to see where he goes next

Loma is a pressure fighter with smooth transitions from offense to defense, and Prograis simply could not emulate the nuances in Loma's style. Loma has been perfecting his style for years, it's second nature at this point. Prograis' best bet was to create and catch Haney in an exchange, but Haney's feet and timing kept limiting those opportunities. Once Prograis got stunned, I knew the fight was over because that would decrease his morale a bit. Once you make a counterpuncher hesitate and keep their gun holstered, the battle is won.
