Uncle Al successfully secured another investor victim. Two years of funding max, which is really irrelevant. But it doesn't always mean the match-up was PPV-caliber. The guys who've become accustomed to being PPV attractions will not want to take a step back. What I want to know is if the PPV price will stay $80, or will Prime members get a discount.

Shouldn't the consumer have the right to complain about the money that we're being asked to pay? The more fights on PPV, the more we are expected to subsidize. The money has to come from somewhere. If it's not from networks, advertisers, then it's the audience. The easy thing to do would be for fans to stay silent and let the boxers/promoters dig their graves, instead of trying to hold them accountable. Boxing will play victim and complain when PPVs and events don't do well, but then not do anything to change its methods. If everything goes to ****, Boxing can't turn around and say the fans didn't warn them.

I was wondering the same. Had Prime for the last 6 years. Hopefully every supposed BIG fight isn't on ppv or I'll do what I've been doing and stream the sh.it.
I did finally buy a ppv after over 10 years....the Bud annihilation of Errl, which was worth every penny!

Yea this will be interesting to see. I'd like to see no more than a PPV fight every quarter, so 4 a yr, but I think thats probably wishful thinking at this point.
