Comments Thread For: Michel Rivera: If Tank Won't Fight Me, I'm Sure Subriel Matias Will!

After nearly a year out of the ring, Michel "La Zarza Ali" Rivera (25-1) returned to the winner's column with a unanimous decision victory over Sergey Lipinets (17-3-1) on Saturday night in Las Vegas at the Michelob Ultra Arena inside of the Mandalay Bay resort and Casino. The fight took place on the David Benavidez versus Demetrius Andrade undercard that was distributed by Showtime pay-per-view.

Rivera would avoid punishment for the first four, but eventually he ends up quitting or on his back.

Respect if he’s actually willing, and not just talking, but it doesn’t end well for him in the end, beating or quitting ..

Matias will obliterate you Rivera, if the fight is ever made.
From what I'm hearing there talking about Matias vs Rivera in March, or April of 2024, in Puerto Rico.
I hope that they schedule that fight for March, and then schedule you Matias form his debut in Madison Square Garden in June for the Puerto Rican Day Parade weekend.

Tank is not coming to 140 to fight a contender! I'm sure Subriel Matias would oblige you! Don't put this fight in Minnesota, or Texas! P.R. vs D.R.! It's not that hard! NYC, MIA, or ORL! Let's Go!!!

Rivera does has skills, I would not go as far as saying that Martin exposed him, he has more skills than he showed in that fight. Kudos for him to actually wanting to fight Matias and another puncher in Tank. Not too many people are calling Matias out. Good fight if it ever happens but I would favor Matias to catch up with him.

What Matias has done with his last 5 opponents has been very impressive.
