The is understandable but boxing is a discipline and most will take to it. Also he has to have handlers that advice him. At the end he is a grown man and has face his decisions. There are consequences for actions.

Did Joshua get a credit beating Martin? Kownacki? Ortiz?

All these guys beat Martin much better.

Jared nearly lost to a fringe contender. IMO he must still prove he really belongs in top 10. Can he beat Ajagba or Makhmudov?

Problem is people like you don't really understand boxing history or boxing in general. Some of the greatest fighters in history would've been written off or called hype jobs, exposed etc if they were around today.

Marvin Hagler lost to 2 fringe contenders before he ever won a world title, was he overrated? No, he had 2 losses and went on to great things.

Ali's corner had to cheat to get him through the Cooper fight because he got flattened, they cut his gloved to buy him time. Cooper was just pretty much a domestic level British champ

Pacquiao got knocked out twice before anyone outside of Asia knew of him, once by an 11-4 fighter.

Had this all happened today, imagine how much people on forums would say they're exposed hype jobs etc?

I'm not saying Anderson is near those guys, but you can't call fighters overrated because they have some tough nights on the way through. Its part of the game. Crawford is p4p number 1 today but he was getting hurt but a midget Gamboa in the past.

Gamboa is better than everybody Jared has ever fought, so I don`t know what your point is, you expert.

So, yes, the point is I don`t know **** about boxing, you expert also explained to us that Fury struggling with UFC guy actually means he beats Usyk, lol.

Martin was a late replacement and he was old and washed up in Anderson fight, young rising contender should beat him clearly and easily.

Joshua knocked out Martin in 2 rounds and that was fresh unbeaten Martin. there are levels.

Common opponents are not always the best indicator of levels because then I'm assuming you believe Tyson Fury is going to smash Usyk because their common opponent is Derek Chisora. Fury has stopped him twice and even took his 0 early in his career, yet Usyk could only beat Chisora 115 - 113.
So If that's how we're judging levels, Fury is more than levels above Usyk. In fact, quite a few guys must be levels above Usyk if we use Chisora as a common opponent example.

You can find hundreds of similar examples.

Boxing doesn't really work like that, never has.

elite athletes shouldnt be drinking at all.

Look at Pavlik, look at Spence, look at Tyson Fury, ricky hatton, on and on. a lot of guys got careers cut short from alcohol, its a self control issue. Especially if you want career longevity. Very few fighters these days live like athletes outside of camp
