      That's why wilder deserves more.
Wilder's 3 biggest PPV fights were big because of Fury, who drew in the first and beat his ass in the next two. The other three were against easy opponents and didn't do nearly as well. Both Ruiz and Wilder are currently former champions, clamoring for a big fight. A 70/30 split is ridiculous.

I'm not saying it has to be 50/50, but Wilder could fight him for 60/40 and make probably 10 million, possibly more. If Ruiz's payday at 70/30 is 4 million bucks, Wilder apparently is going to get around 12 million. Up that to 60/40, which it has been pointed out in the comments, is the amount it should be.....WIlder makes around 10 million, Ruiz makes like 6 million. Which sounds right. That is called pricing yourself out, when you act like you want a former titleholder who KO'd a champion, and then you offer him 30 percent. If Wilder thought he could beat Ruiz with no issues, 60/40 would be easily done. He is walking away from ten million bucks. It is the opposite of what Malik is saying. Malik is just trying to make Wilder seem as if he is really looking for challenges.

Wilder had no intention of fighting Ruiz. He has no intention of fighting any real threat, or he would have done it by now. I honestly get the feeling that Wilder may be done, or that he may be looking for one more big payday and then he will retire. He will never be the Wilder he was pre-Fury, the Helenius fight was a farce.

I will put some respect on him. He has a damn near supernatural ability to fight when he is basically half out of it and hut, and he has a great right hand. But he is not a good fighter, and I believe he is done fighting any serious competition.
At this point you are just talking. Outside of him fighting Joshua who even cared about Andy Ruiz? You definitely have zero knowledge of boxing if you say Wilder fought 90% tomato cans. If that's the case then Fury has fought 90% tomato cans. Now go over to BoxRec and compare the resumes. Then come back and apologize for your nonsensical talk. Nobody cares about Andy Ruiz and if he fights anybody outside of Wilder or Fury he won't be able to sell out the party room at AppleBee's. Ill dismiss your Wilder talk because you're just a Wilder hater. lol

How can you even have any sympathy for these liars?
Why do they even get away with it?

It's still very much in play. This is what this news article is all about when it's like the
comedy program "Everybody Loves Raymond." Everybody wants a piece of Wilder.
Dillian Whyte offered him $4 million at a time when Wilder was making an average of $1.5 mil.
Wilder countered by asking $7 million!! This is Whyte for crying out loud, easy fight easy money.
Yet Wilder wanted no part of it. Almost everyone has called his name Wallin, Chisora, Zhang, etc.
            Biggest joke in boxing.

No wonder Showtime's Espinoza stopped covering Wilder's fights and passed them on to Fox Sports Boxing, which eventually closed shop by the end of last year.

PBC is losing money on Wilder, Wilder made a big money fighting Helenius, that fight was big money loser.

I guess PBC only wants to pay Wilder if he fights Ruiz. They can`t afford giving him a big money for easy fights anymore.

That’s cause a lot todays AVERAGE fighters think their worth 20 million.

I still want to know who they offered that money to. He said "fighters." I don't believe Zhang, Hrgovic, Sanchez, Wallin would turn down that fight.

Might need to add a few mil til one of Wilder's preferred opponents takes him up on it.

No idea who Wilder prefers apart from AJ, but I doubt he gets Joshua out of bed for less than 8 figures.
