When I think likes of Hamed, Rogondeaux, Donaire, Inoue, Pacquiao, Barrera, Morales etc have all campaigned below featherweight, I'm glad the lower weight classes exist.

You either race horses or you box if you are below 135 for pro sports.

Maybe they could combine two sports, outlawing anyone above 135 pounds and DQ'ing anyone who hurts an animal. The rest is fair game. They race with whips and the jockeys can legally hit each other with it. Or kick the other man. The Arabs can promote this game of " combat racing." My money is on dirty Sanchez to win in the 5th. But don't forget about the camel jockeys winning the occasional race. You can get long odds on them. What do you think?

my point is that it's not that difficult to become successful as a flyweight if you're that size because there's so few men that size. like I said, I could walk around my city all day probably seen one or two men that weigh 115 pounds and 5'3".

there's only 29 professional male flyweight boxers in USA, that's not even one for every state, that's how rare is to find a man of that size. so if you are a man that is the size of a 12 year old girl and decide to become a professional boxer in the flyweight division, you might automatically be number one in your state.

no disrespect to these midgets but it's much easier to become a successful flyweight boxer than it is to become a successful middleweight boxer, purely based on the fact there so few of them because they are basically a freak show.

Roll back the clock 100 years and these midgets would be fighting in a tent in a travelling circus but for some reason we've decided it's a good idea to make it into a real sport for them.

in my opinion , anything under featherweight should be put on a bill somewhere else with wheelchair boxing or something
But the thing is little guys learn boxing for self defence, and being small and insecure little guys really learn the trade, probably make the best trainers. So the standard is probably higher in lower weights.
That's why little guys can step up weight and beat bigger guys.

Train and diet to be 100% all muscle with no excess BS internal fat, be slightly dry and this is when you see big guys be so light, go look at a pit bull that's in shape and its a lot of dog for under 50lbs.
