the ironic thing is that devins fans may well see loma as just some hypejob but now they have to kinda big him up a bit instead of slag him or else they are actually slagging off their guy as well lol

compare me to the greats lol, himself a teo should meet up for a coffee and shoot the breeze a bit, maybe they can fight next actually, that would be interesting

Loma wasn't "suppose to win that fight" hate to tell you that. It was an old lion coming off a bad performance against an unknown after returning from his homeland thats at war.

Lmao I love how you lack context. Typical casual. Love proving you wrong since you've come back
What difference does Teo's excuses make? You win or you lose. If you fight & lose its on you not your excuse of why you lost.

Where did I mention anything about who was supposed to win in Devin vs Loma? Some of yall just invent **** to be right about that no one was talking about lmfao.

I love how you are making everything about context & I'd argue excuses. No one gives a fook about ppls excuse for why they lost. Suck it up buttercup or don't fight.

Being that Devin was the guy in his last of a 3 fight deal with a promoter vs that same promoters fighter for their whole career idk if he had the same A side advantage you'd expect one to have. But it was a close fight I'm not arguing it wasn't.

Yes he won the fight as I stated. His first future HOFer W.

BUT what I can do is give him total credit for wanting to fight everyone. Not happy about the gift over Loma, but he wants all the smoke.
I get saying the fight was close & you feeling the fight went Loma's way, but I can never see a W being a gift to either fighter when it was as close as this fight was. Most Loma cards were 7-5 & it don't take much to swing things Devin's way with a couple close rds, in which there were many if you look at boxrec's fan scores.

When there are a lot of 9.6 to 9.3 & 9.5 to 9.4 rds (6 of the 12rds in this fight) like this those are rds that got a lot of mfers split. If you didn't see it like that fair play, but you gotta admit that sometimes you got preferences on what wins a rd & others got other things that win a rd & neither of you are necessarily right. And when there are so many disputable rds & the less disputed rds by each guy is tied at 3-3 the fight can go either way.

The only fans of boxing who think Devin beat Loma are Loma haters and Devin fanboys.

I was glued to the set watching that fight and was impressed by Haney's resilience, that being said, he ate a lot of leather and clearly lost that fight.

I remember being so excited for Loma but at the same time nervous because Haney was the A side.

Disagree. The only ppl who think Devin clearly won OR Loma clearly won are fan boys of either guy or ppl who can't distinguish swing rds either guy could've won. This was a close competitive fight that could have went either way & I'd have been cool with it whichever way it went, but it did go Devin's way.

Like you do know fights are judged rbr & that based on these punch stats you are showing as evidence Loma won supposedly its a 5-5-2 draw in landed shots & a 6-6 draw in landed power shots?

In fairness Loma did win the jab battle 5-3-4, but with so many tie rds idk that that means a whole lot when so few were landed, 4 per rd on avg between both of them.

I feel like some of you mighta got droped on your heads as babies sometimes.

Great is a term thrown around very loosely in this new generation of Twitter, Instagram fighters and their fans.
Devin Haney needs a reality check FAST.
He is fighting in an era of over 154 title belts with B and C level fighters capable of holding a paper strap for a little while. He is VERY fortunate to have gotten the decision against an older, smaller Lomanchenko who was not very active prior to their bout. While I appreciate his talent, Haney clearly is not in a position, especially with his warped logic, to be put in the same category as a Ray Leonard, Duran, Hearns, Wilfred Benitez, Manny Pacquiao etc..... he needs to keep fighting top fighters such as peers like Shakur, Davis etc..... defend his titles for a lengthy period before that conversation starts. And run it back with Lomanchenko and stop this delusional narrative that he claims he thoroughly "whipped "the Ukrainian. Nothing could be further from the truth.
