Comments Thread For: Ugas: I Don't Know What The F--- Happened; That Wasn't The Spence That Fought With Me

Yordenis Ugas couldn't believe what unfolded right in front of him the night of July 29 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The former WBA welterweight champion anticipated a very competitive fight between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford. Watching Crawford dominate a then-unbeaten Spence was perplexing to Ugas, who lost his WBA belt to Spence in Spence's previous fight 15 months earlier.

It seems safe to assume that Spence making 147 affected him. Even if Spence himself made no excuses after the fight.

What happened was that you're not half as good as you think.

The coping is only going to get worse for Spence fans, because their boy is going to get beat down just as bad at 154. Better come up w back up excuses for supporting the losing fighter!

Yeah because crawford made him not look like himself. crawford's style is kryptonite to spence. Always was always will be! pbc cult trying to make excuses for spence and I'm not buying it.

Spence is too slow for a guy like Bud.

Yeah, you had a chance to finish Spence in the ring but you either got paid or no cojones to do it. Backing out when your opponent is rocked and on the ropes is surely a display of greatness

Bud is PBC now. So trying to make it look like a PBC guy is hurt because a PBC guy got beat shows how some of y’all are still trying your best to turn a blind eye to what Al Haymon’s PBC has accomplished through the years and especially this year. And oh Canelo is PBC too!
