    Robert Helenius says the only performance-enhancing substance he needs in his system is his 'Viking blood'. The 'Nordic Nightmare' only boxed on Saturday but secured an unlikely clash with Anthony Joshua after Dillian Whyte returned an adverse analytical finding in a VADA test.

        They should. And the only way is they have a roid division for the millers and whytes who just don't got it and wanna pump themselves full of chems to have a chance at the top talents. With body modifications coming soon they will need a natural vs enhanced classes for likely all sports as ppl with synthetic enhancements will have too much of an advantage. Would be fun to see if the natural talents will be able to collect any interest or it will be like womens boxing that can't reach the same mass appeal as the level of competition is lower.

        Helenius also trains in his own neighbourhood gym on the small island off the coast of Finland without real sparring partners etc. He is a self made man through and through and you gotta wish him well despite Joshua having all the material/promotional/financial privileges. Likely this is the last fight for him. He is showing his age and was never the same since the injuries in 2011. The Kownacki wins were good wins but his boxing is not on the same level as it was 10 years prior with the snappy jab, tight defence and timing.

          I agree 100%, that anti-doping rules should be the same in every country, every country is in the same world, so the same rules need to apply to all in it!
          Now give it your best effort against Joshua, because if by some miracle your able to land the Hammer of Thor on Joshua.
          Opportunities will open up for you like the Red Sea, opened up for Moses. That said I just can't get the image of you laying prone on the canvas from Wilder's Hammer!

            We don't only need a global set of rules but also 1 governing body with a more efficient system.
            In the ufc the B-sample is tested & there are set bans for what is in your system right down to the picos.
            In boxing innocent or guilty you basically serve a 1 year ban waiting on not fit for purpose governing bodies to clear or ban you. It's not right for the fighter's or the fans.

              You're absolutely deluded if you believe that UFC does anti doping well, Christ Jon Jones is a perfect example of that, he's popped how many times!? and got away with it...

              And let's not pretend that USADA (UFCs alleged "independent" Anti-Doping Agency​) doesn't just use WADAs "rule set" just like UKAD.

              They're no different except the BBBofC tries to actually prove your guilt/innocence in tandem with UKAD hence the time "wasted".

              Which ultimately should be the preferred route as peoples lives are in jeopardy in the ring (or cage) and in the UK and i'm sure elsewhere there has been plenty wanting boxing banned, we don't need some twat on PEDs killing someone and achieving that goal for the cry babies..

                People in the UK hate drug cheats. I have no idea where you got this "They don't care" thought process from.

                As for supposedly being lynched in Finland if found to have drugs in their systems, that's also not true. You only need to look up athletes from Finland who have popped to see it isn't the case.
