Paying anything is too much to watch an event that should be free. I'm not going to come on saying I'm thrilled about spending the $22.50 (splitting it with a friend), but it is what I have to do to see the fight.

Once we rid the sport of promoters and sanctioning bodies, get one unified boxing league, we'll get away from PPV, get back on Network TV, and everything will be free.

Half of the current professional fighters will be gone fishing.

a tank and a half of gas
            lots of steak,chicken,or pork
an expensive steak out at a grade A restaurant
            a tub of Muscle Milk
a week of eating at a chinese buffet, or 2 dates at a decent chinese buffet
            10 movie tickets

u would trade any of these just to see some overhyped fight a week early?

I'd only throw up on it if it was like 9-10 of us. 5 bucks each or less seems worth it to me, and even then I won't enjoy the fight as much as I would if I were to just ignore the press/boxing sites and watch it a week later in my own home, cause when a big punch lands everyone jumps outta their chair blocking the view and I gotta stand up to see whats going down..im just gonna catch it next week, tape it, and watch it over and over again later on afterwards, by myself, in total concentration.

some people watch boxing to say 'oohhh look at that guy getting punched etc'. me, i watch it and study it like it's a trig problem, i simply watch fights better alone, or with people who dont jump outta their seat when a large punch is landed, ruining my concentration.

i prefer not to surround myself with novices when a big fight comes around, even if they are my friends.
if ur not willing to pay 45 bucks for this ppv
what the *** u doin on a boxing forum
shouldnt u be on a half tank of gas forum
or what u can get for 45bucks forum

this card def merits the 45buck price tag

To me its a total rip off to pay 45$ for any fight I dont care who it is between. Just call all the local bars, One of them will be showing the fight, then you can watch it for free. That is what I do alot of the time.

Its not about being a "bum" and not being able to afford 45$. Just I dont pay it as a matter of principle.

I don't think we will see major fights on network tv anytime soon if ever. I don't think promoters and sanctioning bodies are going to go away anytime soon either.
