Double stacking sounds bad, but it really only protects your hands. People try to discredit fighters for doing this, but where was Paulie's punching power advantage when he did this?

Double stacking is to protect your hands. It has nothing to do with adding punching power.
Whoever started that ****** rumor knows nothing about boxing.
And it also doesnt take a genius to figure out that Team Fulton is just trying to stir up bull**** in Japan.
They need to be more respectful in the words they choose. It's completely legal in Japan.

The rumour from what i saw was one guy on twitter sean or something who was talking a load of **** and seemed it spread from there. There is nothing to it its legal in Japan its legal in Vegas plenty of fighters have done it and like people have said it protects your hands better. Both the PED and Wrap rumours were just to discredit him with 0 basis

Essentially you are placing a shell around your hand, making your hand stiffer, this takes some of the load off the bones in your hand. If you are a power puncher you'll see an improvement. If you can barely bust a g****, like Pauli, you might barely be able to bust one with the stiffer hands.
personally I think that method of wrapping should be illegal but I'm not in favor of changing that rule for a particular fight. If that's the rule where they are fighting, that's the rule.Last edited by 4truth; 07-24-2023, 10:41 PM.

Whether you're a power puncher or not, protecting your hands adequately enables you to punch as hard as you possibly can without hurting your hands. I think it should be allowed everywhere.Last edited by BoxingParadigm; 07-25-2023, 05:29 AM.
