So those whose who would hate on him taking stay busy fights...Dont know boxing
Floyd is going to wait for November to see what's good with Cotto and Pac and will fight in 2010. There isn't enough time to build a fight for Floyd in December when HBO's putting pretty much the rest of their budget into Cotto vs Pac.
..and Floyd not fight in Vegas where the $$$ is at??? LOL naaahhhhh...Wembley Stadium in all truthfulness is a pipe dream.

If Floyd wants to fight in December, HBO would kick out all the current dates they have and make another HBO PPV of a Floyd stay busy fight and sell 1Million PPVs in December.

he can do it in the UK....
Hlatshwayo is slightly more plausible, if a stay-busy fight were to be announced for December.

The only fights right now that make sense for Floyd are, Shane or Pac vs Cotto winner. Anyone else wouldn't make sense to me. Now what would make sense is a fight in January against Shane. Shane is fighting someone already though right?? After Floyd beats shane, then he can fight the Cotto vs Pac winner in April.

The guy just came off a 2 year layoff....a stay busy fight would be good fight him...Taking another long layoff would not be a good moved for Mayweather if he is trying to get his skills sharpeR AND SINCE HE IS ALITTLE BIT OLDER.
like I said before Juilo Ceasar Chavez use to take stay busy fights all the time he used to fight every month fighting fighters with only 3 career pro fights when he has already fought 60+ fights...
Thats why I said he could do the fight in the UK..Build up his base more over there and after that fight HE CAN put his fight with Pacquaio or Cotto on P.P.V in the UK RATHER THAN JUST HAVE IT ON SKY SPORTS...
if Amir Khan fights are on P.P.V in the UK.. Floyd Mayweather should make it his mission to get his fights on P.P.V in the UK....
And the best way to do that, is to start fighting in the UK.
and what better way to start fighting in the UK than with a stay busy fight.

But If I was him, I would try and get this stay busy fight on Network TV...

anyone else think they already have a fight setup between winner of cotto-Manny? since he's ducking mosley, and looks he's trying to "stay busy", waiting for antoher fight, the only fight that remains is either manny or cotto.
Either way, floyd is waiting for a Bob Arum fighter. they must be in negotiations already. Even though floyd said he wouldnt deal with him again, it looks like theyre planning on it.

although the size difference should balance things out?
