Marquez takes on Hatton or Morales

These are the two fights I could see for Marquez in the next year. Morales has been talking about a comeback and Hatton can be lured back I think.

I know Morales has talked about wanting to fight Marquez, and Marquez would probably take the fight if the money was right.

Anyone agree with me?

I just have a gut feeling that Marquez-Hatton will happen. I never thought of Erik Morales vs JMM, I would like to see that, even though it won't be as good as it could have been.

its a possibily that he fights marquez, a bigger one than him fighting hatton because we dont know if hes even coming back where as morales is already training for a come back at 140. nacho beristain was also talking about fighting morales if the mayweather fight didnt get signed. if morales fights like he did in the david diaz fight, him and marquez can make a good fight.

He says he wants to come back at a comfortable 144 or so, then drop down to 140 or 135 if his body allows it. We will see, but I think his comeback plan is pretty definite. I honestly don't think Morales will have trouble getting back down to 135. He used to gain a lot of weight between fights anyway. Plus he would be the younger man, haha.

Yeah I think Hatton is expected to wake up next summer, so that fight might have to wait.
