He is not a fight or two away, he's ready now, next fight, and I'd put my money on him.

I thought Ennis timing was a little off and Villa is a tough guy no doubt but slow feet, I don't think that was enough to beat Spence or TC, Boots need a couple of more fights with top comp he is still improving and these fights do him good, it was a good showing but some flaws are there and Villa is not the fastest, Boots is working into that big fight zone.Combat Talk Radio likes this.

Ennis has great speed and reflexes. Those are 2 attributes that he has over Spence and Crawford. His stamina looked really good tonight too, though that could be deceptive because he was the one that was putting most of the hurt on his opponent...but he had to withstand some punishment too, and he wasn't bothered too much by Villa's attack. Ennis is probably in his physical prime right now, while Crawford and Spence are past their primes. Also Ennis is naturally bigger than Crawford..., maybe not bigger than Spence, but he's a fairly big welterweight. Spence and Crawford won't fight Boots until they're at the end of their road...,and even then, I'm not sure if they'll fight him.

He’s an absolute weapon. I found it funny when people were off the bandwagon last fight where he won 12-0 cause the other guy ran all night to survive. The kid is for real.Last edited by _original_; 07-09-2023, 12:29 AM.STREET CLEANER paulf like this.
