Wilder didn't get offered a 4-5 fight contract with DAZN. The 3 fights were Breazeal on his own platform for 20 Mill just to get him to sign up for the two fights with AJ on DAZN. The DAZN thing was an ongoing one with multiple scenarios being discussed. One of those being a 4-fight deal and another is the one you talked about (i.e., a 3-fight deal). But that doesn't change anything whether it was 3, 4, or 5 as you accept yourself that it was not exclusively for AJ but just part of it. Doesn't change one bit who had and still has the better options and marketability between the two.

Wilder wasn’t doing anything on PPV until he tried to cherry pick Fury and it backfired.

There's a difference in making offers for fights to shut down the numerous roadblocks compared to making offers because that platform actually wants that fighter there. DAZN didn't care about Wilder other than for him to fight AJ.

DAZN made it very clear they only cared about the AJ fights for Wilder. Not only that, but as i've already said, isn't it a big clue that they were willing to pay Wilder 20 Mill for the Breazeal fight on the Showtime platform that they only cared about the AJ fights? Who would do that if they wanted that fighter on their platform? It was to sweeten the pot for a notorious coward. Not even that was good enough. Nothing is when you're that frightened.
