What's the formula to beat Floyd?

I just can't understand all of this "outwork him" business. Floyd showed against Hatton that he has no problems with fighters who come to swarm him. He can fight inside just as well as he can fight outside.

To beat Floyd you need three things:

1. A jab.
2. A jab.
3. A jab.

floyd has a few flaws that a WW can exploit:

1) economical with punch output
2) can get stuck in a defensive shell for stretches
3) little power at WW
4) not stronger than a real WW

so what do you need to beat floyd?

1) be busy
2) have stamina to stay busy
3) be willing to take one (since floyd doesn't throw 2) to land one
4) push floyd around the ring

that means the only guy at WW that can beat floyd is mosley.

I like it but floyd shown the capacity to switch his style up and pick up his punching output and it seems like he is comfortable to really go all out in conditioning at WW so I can't see him getting gassed for him to lose I think its just going to take someone just good bit more talented than him and almost as smart as him... nobody in this division comes to mind... i think moseley is the most competitive fight tho

hatton isn't a WW. a real WW with all of the attributes I named can beat floyd.

floyd will counter the jab with the overhand right... only way you can get around that counter right is if you have a massive reach advantage over floyd.

sure, he's in condition, but he doesn't throw combinations.... and even if he does, its not more than 2 punches.

Only way to beat him is age as his skills slip to bring him back to the field , he is such a tactical genius that every fighter he fights he shuts down there work rate and has them thinking and thats the beginning of the end , he has amazing reach because of his foot speed , if you try to swarm him he will sap your strength like a sponge and pull you apart in the run , only fighter I see with a chance is Williams and thats based purely on shear size high work rate and good tight boxing skills , I dont see Mosley and Cotto as a problem for Floyd .

Outwork him. **** accuracy and **** power, just swarm the guy and don't allow him to get off punches.

cosign, thats why paul williams and even marg could beat him, just punch him everywhere you can and wear him down.

I dont know if that will definetly beat him it just seems like the most logical because defensive fighters usually get beat by fighters with high work rate
