Is Keith part time Thurman even relevant anymore? He has had 3 fights in 6 years which is absolute ludicrous i would have to see how he looks in his next fight but I don’t have high hopes.

Always like watching his fights, but he is derailing his own career with all the inactivity. I suspect his next opponent will be a long faded name or someone dragged up from beneath the top ten rankings. He needs a dominating performance if he wants to get back into title contention and expect the millions he will be demanding. I think whoever wins the undisputed titles will start dropping them shortly afterwards and moving up to 154. Keith might get a chance to compete for one of the vacant titles in 2024.

Too bad Thurman and Gary Russell Jr are not in the same weight class.

Their fight would have been studied by astronomers, together with the rarest solar eclipses.

Keith really thinks he is a big star. If it got political then he should had made a case for himself in staying active and beating fighters for their rank. That way the political landscape would had been easier to maneuver instead of waiting around for a handout.

Because of his inactivity he is not in the discussions of big fights and what ever momentum he had has been all lost.

More than likely he will fight Ugas which is the only fight that makes sense and the winner can actually fight for something meaningful afterwards.
