I think the best foot-work fighter Cotto has fought is Mosley and I think Pacquiaos footwork is faster then his too!
If you watch the Malignaggi fight it was a close/even fight up until the last 3 rounds, and i think Cotto fought waay to passively/patient in that fight and i think this is the kind of approach is what he needs to avoid against Pacquiao, Malignaggi like Pacquiao uses a lot of movement which seemed to offset Cotto, Pacquiao will do a lot of moving in this fight, now i know that fight was at 140 and he was struggling with weight, but i still think there is indication there of what he should not do against Pacquiao.

Cotto needs to go into seek and destroy mode but he also runs the risk of gettin nailed if he does that, however he will be safer closing the gap than he will be leaving that space for Pacquiao to exploit, at least if Pac is on the backfoot he might not be able to generate the same kind of power, if you give him time and space with his power & speed it could be a long night.

Pretty much everything but if I hand to pick one then it would be timing. His timing can throw off Manny's rhythm and speed.

He's an ELITE fighter guys, he's beaten top welters consistently, he's going to be the bigger man come fight night, and if he just uses his jab, he can beat Manny.
        +1

Cotto has become one of the most underated boxers in the sport.

well he started training 4 weeks ago, how's that for understimating? he's training real hard, fact of the matter is, there's weight classes for a reason. and come nov 14 u'll see that lightweights should not fight welterweight, because cotto is giving pacquiao a boricua beatdown of the worst kind.

Shane Mosley said it on twitter. You know more about Cotto than Shane mosley i suppose? Shane = fast strong welter, and lost to miguel.

He needs to train on how to knell properly to minimize injury to his knees. IMO

Cotto lost rounds in the Malignaggi fight because he was being outworked in the center of the ring. Every time Paulie tried to use more movement, he'd be tracked down.

I vote other: Those are not really key issues as is working on his conditioning and be able to go a full 12 hard rounds with out tiring. His stamina is what he really needs to address and work on (IMO).
