Beautiful highly skilled fight. Glad ESPN stopped buffering before the main event started. I had it a draw by the way. Body shots vs straight lefts to the face.Last edited by memphis mook; 05-21-2023, 02:22 AM.

Close fight, Haney dominated the first half but gassed out late, Lomachenko competitive throughout and put his foot on the gas in the second half. I had the fight a draw, i'll have to rewatch it again when good footage gets uploaded to youtube. But normally my first score is usually good. Lomachenko inexplicably gave away the last round. Still would've lost a majority decision even if he took the last according to the scorecards. 6-5-1 for Lomachenko seems to be the consensus.
But they don't want a rematch so they made sure Haney won. A rematch is the only acceptable option after a fight like this but we won't get it just like with Lopez, and an asterisks will be put next to that win forever. I feel like making weight hurts Haney late and he should definitely move up.

The nonsense they are saying is annoying.
He was a fcking idiot when he was a fighter, and is still a fcking idiot when he's a commentator.

This happens over and over again in these scripted "fights." If people think that's age, then the snake oil salesmen tricked them again, lol! They always have a ready excuse to divert your attention from the real reasons. It's called sleight of hand. They plan it like, "really it's going to be a fake fight, but in order trick people into not seeing that it is, we're going to dangle these other excuses over here to distract their attention, just like a magician uses sleight of hand to distract people's attention over here while he changes out the card over there while you're not looking."
It was a decent show though. I still think they are really shortchanging their customers though with all the missing and hugging and lack of activity by the fighters. There was a lot of waiting around where nothing much happened, just killing time to make it easier to script, practice, and perform.
If these "Fights" are all following a Script like you keep saying
Why do you still watch them ?
Lol

I had it 6-6 and I thought similar to the Teo fight, Loma gave away the 12th round.I could see how there would be a swing round or 2 early on that could change the score either way though. It was a good fight, Loma landed the more damaging shots but Haney did great work to the body. They should run it back to be honest if Haney stays at 135 but if he goes up I expect Loma and Shakur to grab a belt and then fight each other and Maybe Tank gets his hands on the WBC and never fights either of them.Deleted likes this.
