If so many people didnt have their bias and ego's on the line this fight would be seen for what it was. The Davis, Stevenson, Haney circus is going to be about who can throw the least punches and sneak away with a win. These guys make Floyd look like a brawler.

      I'll wait

If Garcia's ribs aren't broken then this has to be one of the worst quits that I've seen off the top of my head.. I guess this was Ryan's money grab and you are not going to see him near a ring for awhile. He made millions for a huge non effort. The power of social media (lol)

Two things will get you back on your feet after a body shot : Determination and condition and Ryan has neither

The thing with Ryan is that he can take a punch physically but not mentally. Once he got a bloody nose it looked like he wanted to go home to his mom. Did anyone else think it was weird and amateurish how Garcia would turn his back away from Tank every time the fight got close as to avoid the body shot. This reeks of fear.

As far as Tank goes. I still think he's overrated. Just cause he beat a green, weight drained fighter doesn't mean much. Tank is still a protected fighter.

Trust me PBC won't put Tank in there with Devin Haney, Vasily Lomachenko, Shakur Stevenson, Teofimo Lopez, Josh Taylor, Prograis. Hell I even think a Jack Catterall or a Frank Martin would give tank a helluva fight.

Anybody who’s defensively responsible and can box a bit could take him.

That's not say Tank isn't a very good fighter. He 100% is. But he's not as good as many think. Tank and Garcia are from 2 different worlds. You see and experience a lot of crap in Baltimore. What crap has Garcia been thru ?

Also Tank was up 59-56 on two cards and 58-56 on the other. None of the judges scored the second a 10-8, weird.

Agree that Tank is overrated but he will KO Haney for sure. Haney was going full disco with Linares and despite landing his best shots didn’t cause a dent in Linares. Tank will K him clean O. Haney has no power and his chin is made of cardboard.

I don't think Garcia has lived enough boxing, nor lives enough boxing, to have given him the dimensions and wrinkles in both character and skills, to deal with Tank.

As for the Liver shot this video is interesting and might be used as evidence for the pro Garcia ppl on here

I've boxed and I know first hand that a good liver shot will have you gasping for air, you don't know what's going on, you just hear a lot of noise and see a lot of people, but you can't comprehend anything and you feel like you have a hole in your lungs, not allowing any oxygen to get in there no matter how much and how hard you're breathing. Almost like a stroke (which I admittedly haven't had but seems to describe it to a tee)

Having said that Garcia didn't have that in his eyes. He was totally alert. Looked at the ref. Nodded his head to indicate he was fine. WAITED FOR THE REFEREE TO COUNT HIM OUT. THEN GOT UP THE MILISECOND HE DID.

Garcia legitimately appeared to be in pain he wasn't exactly writhing in it. The decision to quit that he made was a conscious one and he was clearheaded when he made it. He couldn't find the hail mary left hook that he so desperately needed to stop Tank from methodically breaking him down. I think he could've beaten the count if he really wanted to. It's not like he was incapacitated he'd just had enough.

Jamaine Ortiz isn’t that good either, a bit behind guys like Frank Martin & Keyshawn talent wise.. I’m not sure her even beat Floyd Schofield.. Got dropped twice by Adorno a couple fights ago too.

135 is just too strong now.. best division in boxing. much stronger than it was 4 years ago when it was a European division.
Agreed but where stands Ryan himself?

Ryan never fought for a title.and just fought a pair of has beens.

Ryan beating Ortiz remains to be seen.

Ryan was not ready for Tank, there was not need to put a weight clause on his a'ss.

But hey Ryan agreed for it and refused himself a tune up.

This fight was a circus show.

Nice win for Tank. But he looked fat.

I will repeat my question: will he move back to 135?

I don`t think he has the power to trouble 140 guys.

Yup Ryan went the way of the YouTube circus fights and bailed like it was an exhibition when the going got ruff.

Atleast Loma has the balls to fight Real Lightweight Champions, Teo and now Devin, something Tank doesn't have the balls to do.
Teo has a better chance at beating Josh Taylor than Loma does beating Tank.
