Canelo came after a surgery. Who the *** he should fight first as a warmup? Beterbiev? Ryder is decent. He arguably beat a prime Callum Smith. For a shorty, former 154 pounder , Canelo is challenging himself very, very much. Rematching a complete top fighter like Bivol at 175 lbs is an ATG big cojones statement from the shorty Canelo.

Anything to duck Benavidez. And don't give me that Bivol rematch is more important sht. The little red midget had already won a title at 175 against a frail and shot kovalev. There was no need to fight Bivol at 175. He thought it was a cherry pick, did it to duck Benavidez, it backfired and is trying to do the exact same thing again

Rematches should be for guys who deserve them by either being in a controversial first fight or fighting your way back to the top of the division. Canelo did neither. Other than being entitled, there are 0 boxing related reasons for canelo to have a rematch with Bivol.

Bivol after Canelo returns combinations/jabs and makes him miss by slick defense in the rematch.

Canelo is going to get fragged in the "rematch".
Bivol was straight up pasting him the last 4 rounds. Other than pride (or a Benavidez duck) why on earth would Canelo go back to that?brown_knight06 eco1 like this.

OR we could ask why Benevidez hasn't stepped up to 175 to face Bivol, or better yet, Beterbiev. Instead, lets piss on the brave little fighter (who started at 140lbs) questioning his worth, because he hasn't faced Benevidez, a two-time 168 championship ****-up. Have the loudmouth tough guy step up! I never hear Benevidez asking for 175 guys. But I read a lot of little cronies question Canelo while rimming David.

When I asked who they want to see Canelo fight next they all said Bivol, and none of them even knew who Benavidez was. Some of them recognize the name but don’t know anything about him.
I’m starting to understand why Benavidez vs Plant flopped lol.
