Theres alot of talk going around about Floyd fighting Shane after his little public callout after the Marquez fight so I made a couple videos. I really want to see this fight because it would be between 2 of my favorite fighters. Please share your thoughts.

Exactly, the past does not matter, one had a toothache, one had other fights, one was going on vacation. OK understandable, now make the fight, what is the problem? All I want is Floyd to fight anyone that is a WW, show me that you are really the best out there. Simple as that.

exactly what i said in another thread. i can't stand fighters or people in general who hide behind past events or conversations and let those old events or conversations dictate what happens in the now or for the future........ that **** is over, done, in the past, it means nothing now, so why hide behind that.

it's like a game of he said she said. ******, gets you nowhere, obviously, because a real fight that fight fans want to see isnt happening because of such actions from, you guest it, floyd.


bottom line is this, say you don't want to fight him because of whatever reason, and quit making excuses about everything else under the sun!!!

and for all those out there that still try and translate this fight into a money thing saying there is no money in fighting mosley..... that might be true, but there isnt much money in fighting mayweather either, it's at least in floyds biggest paydays, it's been who he's fighting that dictated the outcome of the sales. but both guys fighting each other most likely wouldn't be a world box office event like a super bowl or anything, and that is fine, because as real fans we don't care about what they get paid, we want to see good match ups and quality fights, we want to see who is the best out there, plain and simple. and also i note, when people bring up that there is no money in a mosley fight, and as pointed out, floyd isnt a draw either, but more over than that, in floyds last few interviews he said that he wasn't about the money, he was about legacy.................. well, floyd fans need to listen to his words and formulate their arguments in floyds favor around floyds most recent words.............

exactly. this isn't history class. floyd and mosley should fight, the sooner the better.

haha im glad everyone agrees with me. floyd keeps bringing up the past. Mosleys trying to get the scrap going. i made the videos to shut all them mosley haters up. and its worked so far NOT ONE guy has proved me wrong. Floyd is the one that keeps making excuses....the fight is overdue...make it happen damnit..

I don't think its a question of ducking at this point in time, civicvx .... Its about Boxing revenue. A fight between the Cotto vs Pac winner and Mayweather is worth five to seven times what a fight with Mosley would be at any time. Floyd is going for the fight people want to see and the fight that generates the most revenue.

IMO - I'll take either Cotto or Pac versus Mayweather over Mosley any day of the week.

Also - Just because GBP & Mosley have played their hand wrong doesn't mean that all of us have fallen for this crap they're spewing. They don't have any big-fight potential on the horizon without Mayweather ... So now Floyd needs to fight Mosley all of a sudden .... Please!!!!!!!!!Gimme a Break!!!!!!!!!!!!

well if you watched my video youd see i adressed everything you said...thats why i made the videos im tired of typing this stuff over and over...

of course its business but after pacquiao/marquez whos better than mosley?

and the thing is a bout between the winner especially pacquiao will take forever to negotiate and might not happen at all...you also forget arum and floyd dont play nice together....so why not mosley in the mean time? the ring ****zine #1 top welterweight...Floyds division...its not cool that hes claiming welterweight when in reality hes not fighting any 147 fighters, theyre all catch weight welterweight fights with smaller guys...

shanes fought 3 of them and wanted to fight cotto AGAIN, wants mayweather, and is gonna fight berto then clottey. floyds claiming welter but how many has he fought? he retired twice because 147 turned the heat up on his ass so he JUMPED OUT of the oven MEDIUM RARE...Floyds awesome but hes not taking any REAL challenges from guys HIS size...

The problem is Shane Mosley is 38 and lost to Cotto, that's the problem. Floyd won't gain anything from that fight now. If Mosley beats Clottey convincingly and if Pacquiao doesn't want to fight then YES Mosley is an alternative. Otherwise it's a bad move for everyone really, not just Floyd.

And another reason to say no to Shane now is to show him he lost the train. Floyd usually doesn't stop twice on the same station.
