Vitali is raw as hell

he did a pretty good floyd impersonation, except his oppoenent was garbage and he throws a lot more punches and his technique is horrible.

and he didn't have to make the guy move up 3 weight classes.

What is strange about Vitali is sometimes he looks awkward and off balance, but he is not. He does some crazy ass twists in there and throws punches from all angles.

800 punches in 10 rounds for someone that size is simply incredible.

I think with all the years in the ring, from kickboxing to boxing and being a really awkward, tall person, it's almost like he has developed his own style. He certainly isn't the fundamental technician his brother is, but he seems to be more instinctive and have better ring smarts. He certainly is freestyle in there with some real unorthodox punches and movement.

He thoroughly outboxed Arreola while nearly throwing 1,000 punches, showing great ring generalship, and "intelegantly" clinching while cornered or on the ropes. You have to appreciate that type of performance from a HUGE muthafucka like him, his stamina must be top notch. I would have liked for him to sit on his punches a little more but other than that, he gets an A in my book, that was a boxing clinic. :up:

Maaaaaad props for Arreola, though. He showed a GRANITE chin and a LIONHEART and would have gone 20 rounds if he had to. There was no loser tonight......other than Marquez , why did I watch that fight again????
