Cotto is complete, he does everything well. Thats just a fact. Sure his defence isnt Mayweather like but its a good defence. COMPLETE FIGHTER

Roach is a good coach and i still like him but he's starting to piss me off, why is he always doing interviews or talking ****? Just stick to trainning ur fighters Freddie before u end up like Floyd Snr!

Freddie must be trying to get Pac scared. Pac feels his speed and movement will outdo Cotto, which it could, but you gotta have ore than that to just beat him. Cotto aint a joke

Don't be so silly. Are you really saying that you can't work out why The Ring has ranked Mayweather? I find it hard to believe that you really can't. It doesn't take that much intelligence to work out.

I think Miguel Cotto is a good fighter but I dont feel that
he is complete. I noticed something about him and thats
when he is on the offensive and his opponent feels his power
he dominates but when his power is neutralized he is often on
the defensive but not in a strategic way. He did box Mosley
pretty well but if an opponent pressures him, then he his thrown
off and fights on the run. Perfect example was the Margarito
fight (not referring to plaster) The pressure had him on the
run and he never really sat on his punches or had another
game plan to win. Cotto kryptonite is pressure. I do believe
he can beat Pac though. Pac will be fast and evasive but
if Pac dont take the fight to Cotto, then Cotto is going
to run him down and put him out. Also, Cotto gets hit
way too often with solid shots and he will need to watch
getting hit by accurate punches from Manny.

Coto hater... you can run but you cant hide expect Cotto to win and then expose Floyd chickenweather.... that is what everyone is scared of...
Cotto is good but he is not technically smart enough to
beat Floyd and I think that Margarito fight proved how
Cotto copes under pressure and how he has no plan
B in dire situations. I do give him props for heart and
courage but technically, Floyd would pick him apart.
Cotto defense is leaky and he is way too open and
relies on his punching power to much. Take that
away and he is very vunerable. I want Cotto to beat
Pac because then we have Floyd/Cotto because
realistically I see Floyd dismantling Pac. Cotto will
              make it more interesting.

Cotto ability to win in not based on his boxing abilities, but his dicipline and strategic approach to Pac's style.

you can make a case similar to this for nearly all fighters. step your hating game up.

                    I agree wit 100% of this post..green K!

Cotto loses to Mayweather..and a TKO is probable..but it would be a hell of a fight..because Cotto is very skilled and has patience..so it'll be plenty moments of them adapting to counter or attack each other..it would be a GREAT fight IMO..

                    Pac gets KO'd..period..

Cotto is an awesome textbook fighter. He likes to exchange and can boxing very well. It's his defense that kind of worries me. I mean it's not terrible. I just think if he had some more head movement and weaved a little more he would be in better shape. He kind of reminds me of Chavez. More refined in his technique but missing the body and head movement.....and that supernatural Chavez chin. I don't know if anyone in boxing past and present can compete with Chavez in that department.
