That 1 million can bite Floyd back in the @ss

I thought folks learned their lesson from the De La Joto - Ugly Boy snorefest.
Apparently not, but how much more will the fans put up with Ugly Boy's snoozerfests.

Think about it, for as many people that bought into the hype, Floyd could've easily turned off alot in the process. How much more can Floyd pull the same rabbit out of the hat w/o the fans throwing the proverbial tomato at him.

The purist will be purist, but there ain't a helluva alot of 'em. Casual fans have itchy remote control fingers.

you complain more than i've heard any casual fan complain.

trust me, there are plenty of casual fans who enjoy mayweather's elusiveness.

No, just simply no. I can guarantee you that if Floyd doesn't fight a legitimate threat in his next outing, his PPV #s are going to suffer.

Nice point. But remember, Floyd is only part of the PPV buys. Meaning he picks talented people that have a fan base and picks them to fight. Then if he wins he claims to be the fan favorite. If so why do everyone boo him in the arena? What is it..his fans only watch on TV? They dont go to the fights? lol

                This.

Plus what amuses me is the sheer amount of MW threads literally prove against what people are trying to say about him not being a draw and all that... cuz in business,,, especially show business, love or hate= money

I agree. I think people just wanted to see how he was after the 2 year layoff.
If he doesn't step up and get in the ring with the winner of Cotto-Pac or Mosley then he won't do so well in PPVs.

Pretty much... Your average American fan is lazzzzy... Not rabidly and almost worshipfully dedicated like your average Filipino fan.

There are of course the partyers, purists, and people that post here, but the average casual American fan? Just got home from work, grabs hisself a beer, and wonders, "maybe I'll check out that Mayweather fight"

                    Simple as that.
