Bridger as in Bridgerweight? That WBC division that barely exists? The man is 6'6 and regularly comes in over 250-260 lbs...

yeah but 224... hes not in shape wobbling about like a plate of jelly. Do a Perez and go backwards. I guess Perez didn't have the height though.

No, like most heavies he isn't super cut but he's not a sloppy-looking tub of **** either like Fury. Though that's probably mostly due to his stretched skin when he was morbidly obese.

Still, the man has notable health problems. He allegedly had kidney failure, liver damage and anemia in the Jerry Forrest fight. The guy might get really sick trying to lose 40+ pounds or get very badly hurt taking punches since as a super heavy he's never had to make weight.

This should be an easy fight for Joyce.

Honestly, Zhang is not an elite fighter and shouldn't be on any decent top-10 list. It's a stay-busy fight for Joyce till when he can get an opportunity to fight for the belt(s).

When you get right down to it both these guys are knocking at the door of 40. Joyce may not be Joe Hipp 2.0 however he isn't exactly trick or great at eluding punches. Zhang as well looked to wanna quit for a moment or two late in his last start. I expect a fun, fireworks event where possibly one or even both fighters suddenly gets spent, and the winner doesn't go much farther.

Fury needs to fight soon. What is he waiting for, Usyk to age past 37?

Joyce vs Zhang is an interring match up. Taking a punch Parker and taking a punch for Zhang are not the same thing. I would not be surprised if Zhang wins. I would not be surprised if Joyce wins. People forget Zhang won silver in the Olympics losing to a very good Roberto Cammarelle. Good match up.

Ah Joe Hipp. The peg legged, fat fighter had a lot of guts and some abilty and power. He brought out the cult like boxing fans.
