I just had another look at the first rd of the Corrie Sanders fight. Yes, Sanders got Klitschko's attention near the rd end , but Klitschko played it safe, and let Sanders pursue him. Sanders forced him on to the ropes by holding behind the head with his right glove and clobbering him with the left, with, however very little leverage or power. Then he caught Klitschko behind the left shoulder with his rt hand and pushed him to the canvas. Klitschko got up immediately, ready to continue, the ref rightly called it NO KD.
This "behind the head or shoulder and "push down" seems to be a regular boxer's trick. We often see it, and occasionally the ref is ****** enough or blind enough to miss it and call a KD.

A good case in point is in the Sam Peter-Wladimir Klitschko fight where that happened at least once. In fact all 3 purported KDs were spurious, either foul -like a rabbit punch- or a push -like ...............a push.

Vitali wins this in 8-10 by TKO, I assume. VERY much like the Peter fight.

Arreola might have a bigger heart than Peter, though, and not retire on the stool.

Arreola could make 220lb imo, he was a light heavyweight in the ams not to long ago and you can tell just by looking at his face that he could lose a massive amount of weight. Say what you want about Vitali, Wlad and Haye at least they bother to turn up in shape, even Bowe was in good shape for his fights until he won the title Arreola cant even be bothered to do that. I am sure Vitali will win this if he doesn’t get any injury, although Arreola has some power so you cant 100% count him out.

I just don't get that. He should have a nutritionist that gives him many smaller meals a day, he shouldn't eat after about 9pm and he should be doing solid roadwork for his endurance to cut down to a reasonable weight not only to last the distance but also be quicker on his feet and be able to move more than the big Klit.

          Man, the Nipple really blows.

I was really hoping for Chris to come in at 240 or below. I'm still rooting for him. Even if he loses, maybe he will last. In a sense that is a victory!

Either way, it should be a war, hopefully not as one sided as a lot of people are predicting.
I think Peter was dangerous right before his fight with Wladimir. He was just a hungry monkey who jumped from banana tree and got into the ring... He fought, ignoring the rules (hit to the back of Wlad`s head), mindlessly... Then Wlad jabbed his face to a decision, fat Toney took his ass to school in their first fight, than McCline ****d him... After all of this Peter showed his lack of character as he was helpless in Vitali fight... He showed no heart and class.

I don`t want to be repetitive, but Vitali is a heavy favorite... He is likely to win the fight.... by stoppage... What i want is that the win won`t be really brutal (cause i like Chris), so Arreola can understand what is real dedication and come back better!

I don`t want Chris to repeat Sam Peter`s way, but he may need to lose to reconsider his approach to what he is doing...

I like how vitali inches in with his hands up and back all the way back reminds me of my little nephew trying to fight me or a cat fight. Couple of times in that round there Vitali straight up ran from sanders haha I can't wait till saturday! Vitali has never faced someone with the attitude chris has and vitali is gonna look like a ***** just like he did in that corrie fight. and that was not a slip he got busted with a straight left and tried to hold on and fell on his ass.
Wow. The hate made you see the first round like that? Nasty stuff hate. That was a slip. You are a f##king idiot.

Found a fine comment on another forum:

                    QUOTE "keyser":

Quite a few predictions about Arreola winning, from forums and "experts". Arreola is just too young and fresh, hits hard and often, and is tough with a big heart..

Not that long ago Samuel Peter was suppose to have sledgehammers in each hand and was going to clean out the division, he put up a good fight agains Wlad and was suppose to be much improved against the robotic Vitali and Vitali would have too much ring rust. Samuel didnīt win a round. After the fight Samuel is thought to be an obese nobody with no skills and the fact that he didn'd land a single good punch on Vitali has nothing to do with his state of mind today.

Juan Carlos Gomez was predicted by MANY(especially right on this forum, read threads about how he would would make the Klitschko's look slow and amateurish) to be next big thing in the heavyweight division. The amazing Cuban boxer would outbox the old rusty Vitali. He won 1 round against Vitali. And I do think heīs a very good boxer, and also with a very long reach and would give most everyone huge problems. Now people say he was overrated.

Danny Williams was going to give Vitali problems because he had a huge heart and Vitali had "stamina problems". He didnīt win a round.

Corrie "the sniper" Sanders had KO'd a bunch of boxers in the first round, and Lennox himself was convinced he would pummel Vitali, and he gave him "secrets" in his training sessions. Corrie caught Vitali in the first round, then lost the rest and was beaten to a concussioned, ruptured ear drum, bloody mess. Now people say Corrie was an overweight golfer.

yada yada yada.... Vitali will at most lose 1 round, maybe the first(but Iīll put money on him not losing a single round), and heīll win by KO. After the fight people will say Arreola was a fat lazy mess with no skills. Many will wonder why he didnīt rush in with more punches and wasn't agressive and had no plan B. Like how Danny Williams was gonna try and bull charge him, but got hit on the button right away and down the drain went his plans.

                    QUOTE END.
                    Good one.
