Seems like most casual or non boxing fans chooses Pacquaio over Mayweather, i just don't see it happening. I mean Floyd just technically took apart someone who was level up with Pacquaio, that's not a good sign.

duh ... voidness cant even KO jmm and you are saying the same ... wake up!
LoL ... still dreaming ... you are comparing jmm as someone who was level up with paco ... paco is last fight was @ 140 ... and jmm was force to fight in 140 just to gave another bogus win to voidness ....
Most casual fans just say "It took Mayweather 10 rounds to stop Hatton and it took Pacquiao 2, Pacquiao would beat Mayweather", doesn't necessarily work like that.

While I see where you are coming from, Pacquiao, thus far, has shown that he can handle the jump in weight. Plus, I believe he has a style that will potentially bother Floyd, while JMM was out of his element trying to pressure Floyd. Also, JMM fought Manny at his best weights.
Having said that, he has to get past Cotto, and I think Floyd would win anyway.

END OF ****IN STORY.
And you say it like they fought the same versions of Oscar. I love how people are blind on purpose, and don't even bother to mention that Oscar was a healthy junior middleweight instead of going down to welterweight, where he hadn't been in nearly a decade and was basically a dead man walking.

Marquez weighed only 7 pounds more than he had to weigh in his last fight prior to Mayweather. Putting on 7 pounds does not cause you to lose virtually every minute of every round. I do believe that Marquez should still be fighting at lightweight or even 130, but just because he lost to Mayweather, is no indication that he wasn't decent as welterweight.

I do understand what you mean, although i must admit that Manny has not had a legit test above 130 so its hard to tell if he has truly handled the weight. Diaz, Hatton or Oscar did not have the skill( or energy) to push Pacquaio or get on the inside and test his strength the way Cotto will.
On Pacquaio/Mayweather, first i want to say that i don't think hes going to beat Cotto. But if they were to fight, i think Manny would have some moments, but Marquez pretty much laid the blueprint on pulling it off. Foot work, sharp counters and a slow pace. Just expect a more convincing performance from Floyd.
