People hate to use facts when discussing Boots or belittling Crawford.......

Opponents and rankings at time of bout with opponents.

    Jaron 'Boots' Ennis opponents:
    Custio Clayton - 14th
-The remainder of Ennis opponents were all unranked including his biggest wins with Lipinets & Dulorme who were both moving up from 140.

    Terence 'Bud' Crawford opponents:
    Jeff Horn (Champion)
    Jose Benavidez - 6th.
    Amir Khan - unranked
    Egdijus Kavaliauskas - 6th
    Kell Brook - 5th
    Shawn Porter - 4th
    David Avaneysan - 6th
-All but Amir Khan were ranked in the top 10 of the division. Amir only got the fight because Danny Garcia turned down a $3M offer from Top Rank to fight Crawford

I get that you are a fan of specific fighters but it's probably best to pay attention to more than just your favorite man before making comparisons otherwise actual boxing fans will call out your ignorance in your argument. Crawford has won 6 world titles and every man who's been in the ring since 2014 has tasted the canvas at least once during the fight with not one opponent since 2016 being able to answer the final bell. The man has won 2 Figher of the Year Awards and is one of 3 boxers in history to win an ESPY Award.....yet he is the most disrespected welterweight by today's so-called new boxing fans.

Crawford rose through the ranks without a major deal at the start. I remember him fighting in gymnasiums in front of a 400 man crowd to getting his deal with Top Rank after having shown his greatness in a sparring session vs then welterweight champion Tim Bradley.......3 divisions later he is one of the best of our generation and is CLEARLY avoided by some, but he's not on YouTube claiming he's avoided, he's just fighting those who choose to actually step up. It's not his fault his skill set makes world class contenders look like sparring partners.

Your response is compelling but it lacks context. I’m not going to dissect Crawford’s resume at 140 because 99% of his fans cannot name a single guy he beat in that weight without Google.

Your theory that Crawford is avoided by some is again lacking. All Crawford has to do is fight Boots or Spence and all the argument you see here vanishes like a fart on a cold winter night.
Brooks and Khan had no business fighting Crawford. This is not something to argue about.

Boots was a much bigger name than Avanesyan and was higher ranked. Crawford picked a guy he knows he could beat.

I mean, you tried but your response shows your ignorance of Crawford and boxing in general rather than exposing the lack of knowledge you claim Crawford's fans have of him. Crawford's fans pretty much ONLY mention Crawford's 140 lb opponents. I've notice that on multiple platforms. They mention Gamboa, Postol, Indongo, Diaz, Lundy,....... Most don't know who his 135 lb opponents are.

You claim all he has to do is fight Boots and Spence?.......First of all Crawford called out Spence in 2017 before his fight vs Indongo to unify the 140 division. Spence was actively going after the WBO that was held by Jeff Horn after his victory vs Manny Pacquaio. Spence tweeted that he wanted the winner of the Corcoran/Horn fight.... Crawford step in as the mandatory and took it... all of a sudden, Spence was willing to wait on that title. He fought MIKEY GARCIA.... who was competing at 135....Spence has had every excuse on why he wasn't willing to negotiate with Crawford from him being with Top Rank, to not wanting to deal with Bob Arum, to Crawford not "proving himself at 147", etc.....but you claim it's Crawford's fault he hasn't fought Spence........

Boots.....his biggest wins to date is Lipinets and Dulorme........are you f***ing serious..... Both of them were 140 pounders trying to move up to welterweight..... Dulorme fought Crawford when Crawford was moving up from 135 and was stopped. Since that fight in 2015 Dulorme has 3 victories out of 8 tries. But Boots gets ultimate credit for stopping him....lol. Name a single opponent Boots has fought who beats Khan or Brook since you claim they had no business in the ring with Crawford......

And since we are on that subject.... the Khan fight only happened because Danny Garcia turned down Top Ranks offer to fight Crawford.....that fact is documented. Khan was a last minute replacement. Got a flat fee of $4M- to fight Crawford... Brook happened because Thurman & Spence claimed Crawford needed to fight him for to prove he was a legit threat in the division. But then when the fight was official announced first thing ignorant fans was trying to do is discredit the fight as much as possible in attempt had having an excuse for what Crawford is to do to him.

Boots is only a much bigger name to you and the rest of his following..... Boots is known more for calling out top names than his greatness in the ring.. Nobody talks about his match ups and who he beats....They simply bring up him crying about these "un-named" fighters who refuse to fight him...... Boots has been ranked for 2 years. Why hasn't he petitioned the WBO to get a shot at Crawford...... Stop crying about Avaneysan..... because David Avanesyan said in his post interview after beating Kelly that he wanted a title bout....and he went and petitioned to fight Crawford for the WBO and Spence for the WBC.........obviously he would have to be in line being he wasn't the mandatory but it puts his name on the table and he lucked up and got a shot vs Crawford because Boots didn't petition and Ortiz petitioned to fight Stanionis who is another mandatory........

How's bout you tell your man Crush, Jaron to fight someone ranked in the top 15 of any of the governing bodies. Or just simply reach out to the WBO or Crawford's camp.....he won't do that because then **** will get real.

Team Ennis had not been actively seeking out top ranked fighters. Butaev, who had a split decision loss to Stanionis in a very close fight, would have said yes to Ennis in a heartbeat. Avanesyan would have taken that fight also had Showtime offered the Boots fight. And David is promoted by Frank Warren who can work with any competing promoter. There's also Kavaliauskas whose last fight was on a Showtime card. Yet they chose to pick another meaningless fight that would not add value to his resume. There's no such thing as he's being avoided. It's all hogwash.

Exactly....It's these naive new breed of fans who are believing that nonsense.... Actual boxing fans can sniff out the B.S.
