That'd be great, and it'd teach Duckford a lesson, but it won't happen dude.

You were handpicked by Crawfraud precisely because you don't have a prayer in this fight

Only way BLK turns a profit is to beat heavy on this guy to beat Crawford then screw him on the cards if he survives.

He isn’t saying it’s going to happen tonight. He’s saying this exact scenario happens in boxing.

And I agree. Variations of it happen too. For example, a matchup is already in the works, but a “tune up” happens in between, which ends in an upset.

Some examples of these types of upsets:

DLH promised he’d fight the winner of Cotto-Margarito (really wanted Cotto though). Margarito beat Cotto, DLH walked back his comment and cherrypicked Pacquiao. Lost by upset TKO.

Conversely, Paul Williams was calling out Margarito after the Cotto win, Margarito instead cherrypicked Mosley and lost by TKO upset.

Canelo vs Victor Ortiz was basically set in stone, Ortiz fought Josesito Lopez, lost by upset TKO. Fight was derailed and Canelo instead fought Lopez.

Mayweather vs Judah was signed and sealed, contracts were actually done. Judah fought Baldomir in between and lost by upset decision. Fight still had to go on because there was a contractual obligation for it. Mayweather fought Baldomir after Judah.

Pacquiao vs Morales II was a done deal, signed contracts, Morales gets upset by Zahir Raheem in between. Fight still has to go on as it was already a done deal.
