WBA welterweight champion Shane Mosley is still tearing into Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mosley is not impressed with Mayweather's comeback domination of Juan Manuel Marquez. The Mexican warrior moved up by two weight division to face Mayweather. During a recent interview with Michael Rosenthal of The Ring Online, Mosley said Mayweather only fights hand-picked opponents who are smaller men like Marquez and Ricky Hatton or fighters who don't present a threat. He says Mayweather has ducked the real welterweights of the division, like Antonio Margarito, Miguel Cotto and others. [details]

He's absolutely right. Retiring with a '0' means little when you didn't fight the absolute best opposition you possibly could have.
I think that the Marquez fight hurt Mayweather's reputation, and really exposed the fact that he seems to be more concerned with maintaining his undefeated record and saying he's the best, rather than doing so by fighting the best.
He gets no credit for beating Marquez, especially after not even making weight.

Flyod shouldnt even fight this guy, just so Shane doesnt get to get a big payday... We all know thats the ONLY reason he wants to fight Floyd...
