Let's put it this way, Manny can retire after his fight with Mayweather.

I think Floyd will make a ton on the fight and I personally am very glad it did well, I just don't see 40 million plus in the picture for him, that's all.

Remember Mayweather decided to get his money on the back end. So that they could pay for all the undercard fights, and etc.

So no matter what basically he was getting
$1o million minimum but instead of getting paid up front, Mayweather decided to get paid on the back end. Instead banking on
P.P.V , Gate, Sponserships (reebook), Movie Sales, etc, too really make his money.

Meaning if the fight didnt sale Mayweather wouldnt have lost money.
But if it was a Huge success, Mayweather's GAMBLE would have paid off big time.

Now take into account that Several sources said that the only money guaranteed to either fighter in this event as Mayweather Promotion as the lead promoter was Juan Manuel Marquez . JMM and Golden Boy Promotion was guaranteed 4 million dollars. 3.2 to Marquez the rest to Golden Boy for delivering Marquez.

Now Mayweather as the promoter and he found out a harsh lesson here in this market place as the promoter he had to incur
the cost of 24/7, the marketing, the press tour and anything associated with that event and then after that whatever profit there is including scalping tickets which Mayweather and Al Hayman do engage in they were gonna make their money.

You know out of 70%, Mayweather Promotions is take more than the Lionshare since they paid for everything.

So 70% of 54.94 Million= 38.45 Million
and If Mayweather Promotion get let's say 80% or 70% of that 38.45 They and Goldenboy has to share...

80% of that 38.45 Million in P.P.V Revenue: that's 30 Million right there.
