Comments Thread For: Floyd Schofield Knocks Daniel Rosas Out In 97 Seconds; Calls For Marc Castro, Keyshawn Davis

Floyd Schofield envisioned his Golden Boy Promotions debut ending in a first-round knockout. The 20-year-old lightweight was prophetic in that perception, needing less than 100 seconds to take out Mexico City's Daniel Rosas. A clean left hook upstairs put Rosas down and out, producing an immediate ending at 1:37 of the opening round of their DAZN-aired main event Thursday evening from Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.

If boxing were still ran like is was back in the 80s we would actually see these name drops come to fruition

I could see Floyd Schofield bulldozing them within the first 2-4 rounds to get a KO/TKO.

Hey Floyd you aren't going to get any support from the fans of GBP especially if you knock out Mexicans in 97 seconds.

Just like Benavidez won't get any support from the Africans for beating up blacks on pbc.

I as a Mexican I like what I saw in Floyd. I could give two shyts what race a boxer is in order for me to support them. I support talented skilled boxers.

With that being said Golden Boy needs to turn it up like ten notches on Floyd’s competition. Ima keep an eye on this kid.

The LDBC and Pbc don't agree with you

That is correct. PBC has no Mexican stars. Meanwhile Mayweather and Mosley were with goldenboy.

Shawn Porter 2.0 but more Athletic and throw straighter punches which is not a bad thing by the way. Shawn Porter had a hell of a career, fought everybody and gave everybody one of if not their toughest fights so that is a compliment (respect to Showtime)

Ronnie Shields will help him develop the Boxing Technique and a nice Crispy Consistent MEANINGFUL Jab

Bright Future but a long way too go and it is way to early for a Keyshawn Davis or Haney fight, they know GBP not making those fights anytime soon anyway so good Promo is all that is for right now
