Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder Destroys Robert Helenius With Vicious Knockout in One

Helenius took a dive. Even Wilder looked surprised by that phony KO
the chump knew he was gonna get KO'd sooner or later, so he went down on purpose like a sack of potatoes with the first measly punch that landed, to avoid further damage
half assed arm punch, with no torque from the body, landing on the cheek, not on the temple or jaw
Malik ¨scuba¨ Scott dive all over againTom Joad likes this.

Wilder's power is otherworldly. I honestly am not sure how Fury was able to keep getting up the few knockdowns he suffered. Clearly any other mere mortal cannot. The punch that flattened Robert was barely loaded but you could hear the damn punch land on his skull. It was brutal. If Wilder's legs weigh 10lbs each, he's 200lbs upstairs, lol. Dude has absolutely freakish power.
If anyone caught the post fight conference with Wilder, you may have a new respect for the man. The way he broke down discussing fighters health and how the sport is brutal was crazy honest and on another level.
I also caught some post interviews with Robert and he's a super standup honest dude. Can only feel bad for him because he got flattened in the first round and he clearly wish the fight had gone longer to probably test Wilder. Though he said it himself, Wilder learned some new tricks. He never could fight going backwards and this time he landed a bomb going backwards.Alexis67 likes this.

There was never gonna be a better opportunity for Helenius to take a first round dive.
He had Wilder in the corner with nowhere to go. Had he not hit the canvas he could have pummeled Windmill into oblivion and made it that much harder to throw the fight from then on.
I wonder if Helenius was on a performance based bonus. An extra mil for a first round dive, 250k for the eye roll and another 100k for the 'fencing' seizure pose.
Well played Nordic Nightmare. He'll be living the dream now. Perhaps he'll retire and go on the Wilder payroll as assistant trainer with Malik.
Together they could open a diving school and pass on their sublime acting skills...Tom Joad likes this.

This site never displeases. It’s filled with some of the most special window licking, drool cup toting, mouth piece, helmet wearing 8th grade drop outs. HANDS DOWN. What you’re witnessing here is why other sporting fans laugh incessantly at boxing “fan.” When you have dive conspiracies running rampant that put JFK conspiracies to shame it’s a wonder you can put two of these knuckleheads brain cells together to form an amoeba.

So is helenius. with or without headgear, if he's sparred wilder then he knows wilder's power. i doubt wilder's just tapped him into the astral plane in sparring. so it's just bs.
also the second ortiz fight was a fix. people actually think 'ortiz's eyes were at the back of his head'. i know acting when i see it. ortiz had to act hurt/confused. he was boxing wilder's head off with ease. we saw from their first fight ortiz can get up..and that was a version of ortiz who had failed the medical with high blood pressure. wilder landed illegal punch after illegal punch in that fight but ortiz was still getting up.
that punch wilder first dropped ortiz with in their first fight, that was with full power..and like i said ortiz got back up.
