First off this this isn't Spence or promoters fault Spence wants to prove he's the best ww today but it takes two to tango and Crawford doesn't want it. He's content with a half ass career because you guys have praised him for it.

TR, media, ESPN etc were quick to praise Crawford for facing bum after bum, ESPN did what they do and said he was "p4p the best" when anyone who knows boxing would tell you thats BS his resume is nowhere near p4p best.

But you guys went with it and started saying this guy was the best when he clearly wasn't. Now you guys have created a monster a Diva monster he's thinks he's worth more than he really is but he isn't. Crawford would have never been mentioned along the fab 4 of the 80s not even close. He doesn't care to prove it either because ya told him he was the best by beating bums so why would he have to prove it against top comp like Spence.

You guys have to live with that now.

Boxing fans watch whatever is fed to them. You can bark all day 24/7, 365 days asking for certain fights to be made, and networks/promoters won't give a F about what you cry about. You gotta be a complete idiot to assume networks/promoters only make fights demanded by fans.

Bottom line is it's a business. Various factors are involved why certain fights are easy to make and some are not. And it has nothing to do with what fans want. This is not rocket science. A 12 year old could figure why Team fighter A chooses one fight over another. It has nothing to do with what fans want. Zero, none, nada.

In this case, PBC doesn't want to pay Crawford and Spence what they want. This fight is arguably the most significant event in all of the sports (Super Bowl and NBA Finals level). You have countless entertainers and athletes who are talking about this fight and casuals are starting to Tune in. If these networks have no problem giving fighters like Canelo, GGG, Wilder, and Fury what they want in guarantee money, they should have no problem giving Spence and Crawford what they deserve. This fight is arguably the fight of the century and these promoters are making it seem like this is just another Oscar vs Tito, this fight is much bigger.

Wrong!!!!! This is a big fight for hard-core fans not a super fight though. Oscar, Mike Tyson, Floyd, Manny, Canelo all SUPER stars bud and Spence are not there and may never be at this point.

I mean Porter said he was going to retire before he fought Crawford, win or lose. He wanted to retire after he said he trained harder for Spence than any other fight he trained for and lost, whereas before Crawford fight Porter's dad/trainer said Porter wasn't training or preparing properly for the fight. Porter was coming off three consecutive title defenses before he fought Spence and two of his last 4 wins were Danny Garcia and Yordenis Ugas. Going into the Crawford fight Porter was coming off over a year of inactivity his last win being Sebastian Formella(WHO?!) and he was doing more color commentary and podcasts than actual boxing.

I'm not being unfair to Crawford here, I'm just stating facts.

Formella was IBO champion at welterweight, undefeated and as we would learn, durable as hell. The dude never stopped throwing on Porter, Porter landed at will but couldn't hurt him, Conor Benn landed at will but couldn't hurt him.

They knew what they were doing with that matchmaking for Porter. But what it did was expose Porter's only weakness: power. He's admitted it on the podcast since. That's why Crawford accepted a fight with Porter - BoMac saw that Porter wasn't Kavaliauskas and wouldn't be able to hurt his guy, just possibly outwork him.

Kenny wanted Shawn to basically keep doing what won him rounds early. Stoppage round, Shawn went back to the linebacker because he thought he needed to when he didn't. He's admitted he was thinking too hard. If he had remained composed, I had Porter winning on close decision. Even if he didn't get the W, he would have exposed Crawford's only weakness: his temper.
