Wouldn’t mind seeing him vs AJ or Ruiz to see where he is in the mix.
Absolutely agree. I was going to name those same three names in particular. Usyk has already beat him on a one sided drubbing in the WSOB and I don’t see a rematch being any different. Fury has the size and skill to out point him, and as for Wilder, I’d love to see him walk like a mummy onto his right hand to see how that beard holds up.
I think he beats Ruiz and Joshua quite handily though, the same as he did Parker.

Perhaps he's the next Oliver McCall? a heavyweight who never hit the canvas as an amateur or professional, same goes for Marvin Hagler, iron chin never went down.

Maybe, but he should go further than McCall. His power is scary & he has surprisingly decent stamina for a man of his size. And, he has skill. Too bad he got a late start, he'd be at the top for a long time, I think.. Fury would have to out box him, if he faces him.

Joe Joyce's "hand speed"? No, he is as slow as molasses and as pedestrian as a lion in mud. That said, I have always rated him as in the top 5/6 of the current crop. He has a propensity to push out his punches and not snap them especially in the early rounds. He seems to use his left as a range finder. He is not necessarily a one punch knockout artist like Wilder but the cumulative effect of his clubbing punches reminded me of Foreman in his late 40s. Watch Foreman versus Moorer (Nov 5 1994 round 10) by way of reminder. Joyce is that slow but hits that hard and the cumulative effect of his clubbing punches wears opponents down. Honestly, if I were a ref I would have stopped that fight end of Round 7. Parker was defenseless and offering nothing other than the odd wild swinging right. It says much for his durability but brain damage is a very real threat when Joyce is loading up on you round after round and the knockout, while spectacular, may damage Parker in ways inconceivable at the moment. I reckon Parker will never be the same fighter again and should retire with immediate effect. Against skilled boxers like Fury and Usyk, Joyce will lose. Think Taylor/Chavez despite the controversial stoppage late. I don't think anyone else can beat Joyce. And forget about his age. The man has few fights on the clock and has not taken damage. He will be active until 43-45.

Apart from AJ, Usyk and Wilder, they’re all out of shape and overweight

The pressure and the way he breaks opponents down is crazy to see because he looks so slow an cumbersome but he's such a big man naturally he just wears them down an parker showed alot of heart but just got took apart in the end
Word, but as someone else said once, it’s only really his hand speed and upper body that’s slow.

If you’re boxing him and trying to get away, he seems to turn up in your face real quick.

Anyone with below average activity level will struggle with Joyce, and Wilder’s activity is as low as it gets for a HW.

                Fury will not dominate him,
Fury will struggle and wrestle with him all night to try and keep him off, fire shots off, and get hit back plenty.

On Usyk: Joyce might be tailor made for his attributes, but gotta feeling he’s gonna be in more of a contest than he was with AJ

If Joyce can take a flush shot from one of Wilders best, he can take a shot from ANYONE and nobody gonna be knocking him out if Wilder can’t. I doubt Wilder would fight him right now or anytime soon anyway, they both seem like they are on different paths at the moment.

Fury struggled with Otto Wallin's pressure the entire fight (not just the cut), if Fury had trouble with a 236LB light punching Wallin he will have nightmares against Joyce.
Fury was never able to hurt Wallin so no way he hurts Joyce.
Can Fury dance around for 12 rounds and win a decision, maybe, but it won't be easy.
Fury vs Joyce at the Millennium stadium early next year makes much more sense than fighting Joshua (who has been beaten by a Cruiserweight in his last 2 fights).
If Fury is a man willing to fight someone who poses real danger he will take the fight, somehow I think he will choose an easier option.

Wilder does not and can not fight on the inside. Joyce breaks him down. If Usyke can run all night long then I can see him boxing all night long, I can also see Joyce breaking him down in later rounds 10-12. Joshua would not last more than 7. I can’t see fury’s shots having impact on Joyce’s Chin.

ITS really mentally daunting to see guy take your best shot and steam rolling. Especially when you hit with 2-3 of your best combinations in the hope of backing him off. Joyce doesn’t seem to care or bothered.
