exactly.....shane's running around calling himself the best, when there's a guy still fight, at his current weight, that beat him...SMH

What happened was all because of Bernard Hopkins and his big mouth.

The article is just trash, making it out like Shane is a bully. He never disrespected Floyd. All he disrespected was Floyd's precious ego.

And why would Shane 'concede the stage' at the post-fight conference. He's a member of GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS. He's ALWAYS on the stage post-fight.

Just a dumb article in my opinion.

Anyway I'm glad that what happened, happened. Floyd had cheated on the scales and I don't blame HBO for instigating a fight with a real welterweight.
it was more than wrong....'course haters like you obviously don't see it. when a man finishes a fight, and is doing an in-ring interview, you don't invite yourself into the ring and interject yourself into HIS interview, unless he invites you to do so.....that was disrespectful and desperate....**** shane mosley.....the author of the article is absolutely right, more than anything, shane probably has ruined any chances he ever had of getting the fight....**** him, he deserves it.

i've only seen **** like this, in movies....i've never seen another fighter enter the ring, and interrupt another fighter's post fight interview....in REAL life....only in movies.....

**** 'nard too.....i resect his fight game, but dude just lost a fan in me....he has challenges from the roy jones type, he needs to respond to, instead of lowering himself for a display as pathetic as this **** was.

They could still do this fight this year if Mayweather feels like fighting again if not then the Cotto/Pac winner would take priority over Mosley seven days a week.

I also find it interesting that Ellerbe is saying here that Mayweather and Mosley will fight. Could the other article be wrong?

he might have been quoted in the heat of the moment. Ellerbe may be a yes-man on camera but i have read that behind closed doors that he is mayweathers closest advisors and he tells mayweather exactly how he feels. i see this fight happening very soon.

Journalists are supposed to report news while remaining neutral, not telling us how shameful Mosley's behavior was. Totally crap article written by someone who obviously can't get his tongue any further up Floyd's ass than it already is.

Mosley deserves a fight. End of story.
Exactly yeah, dunno who that guy is, but I thought Sports Illustrated was a big time, professional ****zine in the U.S. It's frustrating to read garbage articles like that.

In all honesty, that type of disrespect does fuel interest though, i certainly dont give a **** about a pac/mayweather fight after saturday. I have been waiting for SSM and PBF to get it on since they were both on the cover of ring ****zine togther, it was either ring of KO monthly.
I would love to see it too. It has to happen. Like you said, look at the interest created, the debate is raging amongst the fans. This would be a big, big fight. The media has to get behind it and demand it.

the only thing ellerbe is interested in is ****

but this is a ***** move by the mayweather camp. JMM is not a bigger draw than SSM, if anything they are equal. Floyd should wear a skirt with the way he's ducking all these challengers and cherrypicking lightweights.

Floyd did invite Shane to do so, he waved him over (and muttered something about basketball).

The problem about this fight is the moment PBF agrees to this fight then the same people who are saying Mayweather is ducking Mosley would be like why didnt Mayweather wait for the outcome of the Cotto/Pacman fight, Or Mosley is 40 blah blah blah.

I really dont mind this fight but its the negativity that would surround it that makes me hope he doesnt happen.

Shane was invited by HBO, and Floyd even beckoned him in. Shane always stands in the ring after a Golden Boy fighter has performed. He is part of the promotional company, do you know?

By the way, I'm not a hater. I have big respect for Floyd's talent, but none for his cheating on the scales, and if he angles himself out of this fight. I am a fan of boxing. I don't 'hate' on fighters because they are rivals of my fave fighters...I will leave that to others.
